Here we are again. Some surprises this last week. Some not-surprises, too
Group 1:
Wrath of Gob v I Kunt
parrigan v Manco
Both teams had costly matches last week. The Gobbos are without their loonatic and the Kunts are down a blocker. I know, everyone is sad to see one of those little bastards meet their demise At least the gobbos will have some inducements to try and keep their weapons on the pitch. So much for that "fun" season you had in mind, right, Parrigan?
DG Chaos Cowboys v Despite all of my Rage
dimmy v comfort_eagle
Two of the top four teams face off here. The DG 'Boys have had some impressive skillups on some of the more difficult pieces and have an AG-boosted goat for that mythical leap/VLL sacker. I hope you get there, Dimmy. However, Coach Comfort and his rats have some nice skills of their own. An AG5 GR can be terribly hard to deal with, provided the Rogre BC doesn't get in the way.
Half Baked Orcs v Bay City Buccaneers
waaarghh v Oni Goku
Old foes. New battleground. Both teams in need of a win. The Bucs are still trying to rebuild from a disastrous start. The Half-baked ones have enough firepower to set them back more than the Bucs care. Classic matchup; agility vs bash. You know this match will come down to good ol' coaching and a few lucky dice.
Tegridy Farms Inc. v Bohemond's Ballers
gorbag2 v Sindain
The new team from the fabled land of Gorland has fallen on hard times. They could really use a win to jump back into playoff contention. They have some nice skills and enough ability, but will their Bretonnian counterparts oblige? I don't think so, either. The 4 knights should be able to handle the ogre without breaking much of a sweat and the other role players should have to do that much less to ensure victory. Only problem is, they have to go out on the pitch and prove it.
Group 2:
A Bird in the Hand v Me Orc, You Orc, We Orc
me v tencoin
The free win tour continues. Up next, some dumb Orcs. They probably won't break much of a sweat as they break much of my team. Again
Orc's Land Raydors v The Rotrage Festerfiends
seriously v asphyxious
This is a really interesting match. Both teams are strong. Both coaches are capable. Provided that these teams meet on the pitch, it'll be a very interesting match to watch. Coach Asphyxious needs this win to separate himself from the rest of the 2-1-2 teams so I'd expect him to be in "try hard" mode.
Bone Thugs N Anarchy v Mediocre Executioners
DocOz3000 v evilspike6
Call him lucky, if you like. Call him whatever you want, because at 5-0, he's at the top of the heap and doesn't appear to be going anywhere. OH, and he has a block TG, to boot. We're all in trouble. But first is you, Coach Evilspike. Some inducements to play with and some un-mediocre dice, and he may just topple the beast that is DocOz.
It Ain't Ogre till it's Ogre v Midnight Wrath
ravers v varensire / almarion
In any given season, a coach can stumble into a win, right? Maybe this is the week that it happens for Coach Ravers. Maybe it isn't. Coach Varensire may have something to say. Boasting a larger roster and some skills, he'll definitely look to notch another win and separate himself from the 2-1-2 bunch.
Ok, guys, MD is rolled and the week will roll next Wednesday night (pacific time!), 27 November. Don't hesitate to reach out if there are any problems. Cheers.
