So my Ogre on my TV 2100+ Human team rolled his second set of doubles. I gave him block on the first without hesitation.
It would have been a simple choice if I rolled a regular skill: guard. Humans can't have enough.
My question is this: do I skip the double roll for guard or do I take the dub? And if I do, what skill should I take? Leaning towards dodge, with pro and tackle coming in just behind.
Any thoughts are appreciated.

Pro - it lets you use your Big Guy like the superstar he should be, rather than a liability he often is... Still need to be careful though!
It has been a frequent game winner/saver for my Khorne team.

Pro, generally I even take it before block. Though, in defence of my possible noobishness there it's because most of my BG are treeman, or wild animal blitzers, both of which I much prefer juggernaut/grab combo to block. That said a tackle ogre would be brown trouser time for skilled fragile types like dancers or gutters...I'd prob look at my opponent for the next 2-3 games and base it on that. Just my 2c though.

No contest, Pro Pro Pro !You lucky git Never had back to back doubles on a big guy before Not as lucky as some that I've seen here in IP. For example: Deathroller: block, tackle, frenzy! Undead mummy: block, dodge, frenzy! How does that even happen?!

I went dodge and it was amazing, he could hold down 3 players, and just laugh off those blocks.

I think Pro is better then dodge for your 2nd double, The Ogres biggest weakness is his reliability, Pro goes a long way to improving that. Pro on the Ogre improves your whole game.

C'mon there's only one skill you can take.......... LEAP!! No in all seriousness Pro to stop Bonehead. Dodge to protect him. I'd go Pro

Pro can be used with Break Tackle too with some caution. (Odds are 1 in 10 rather than 1 in 6)

And of course, although it's dicey, in a truly dire, last-ditch situation you can then re-roll the pro. If it was a frenzy rat ogre or yeti then maybe I'd go with something else, but I can't see past pro in this circumstance.
