1-1 in the Glass-cannon-off (Norse vs Norse!)
Really wanted to win the toss and receive, but lost, meaning Cradle got first go at my boys - I got almost pitch cleared, but only KOs. 0-1 at halftime. Picked up a couple of CAS in my favour, and almost all my KO guys got back up over the two kick-offs so game on for second half.
Then dice went crazy in second half, I ended up with +20ish on the 2D, and left Cradle needing to retire 3 players including his star thrower... Oh and his Yeti managed 6/15 Wild Animal rolls! And I thought I had some bad big-guy games.
Still couldn't get the win though - scored in turn 12, then turn 16 ended with me chasing the ball into a corner, pushing the ball carrier off field, and then failing the pick-up. (I may just steal this tactic of hiding in the corner with the ball and forcing the push off - not seen it before!)

1-1 Draw Remembered how much i haven't played lately and still could kick me for some of the stupid things i just did. Other than that it was a relatively normal match. Orcs went for 2-1 grind and kicked, the elves did... well elvy stuff. Sid scored on turn two as planned, but the cage bashing toward the scoreline afterward became somewhat tiring for the orcs. Using his superior elvish bullshittery and mobility, sid managed to pin my cage short of the goalline and ended the first half with a 1-0 lead. Orcs are receiving in the second half and yet again push their cage up the line, but increase their manouvering and cunning. Although the cage gets pinned by the elvish horde, there is already a blitzer waiting for a pass in the endzone. Using their renowned passing abilities, the orcs easily outplay the brutish wood elves and score the 1-1. The last 4 turns are spent in an awkward skirmish of bashing, dodging and positioning, with both teams frantically looking to score. With neither side capable of performing any gamechanging plays, the timer finally runs out. Good game!

It was good fun pulling off some of the elven crap for a change, those pesky orc throwers frustrated my wardancers with their strong grip on the ball. It was a close run thing, the elves did manage to level both wardancers and a catcher. Duir the treeman managed to block successfully 2 or maybe 3 times, I really must learn to use him as a roadblock after all that is what trees are good at. They also added a second thrower to the team. looking forward to next week. Match ended 1-1 uploaded and validated
