Ok, Gentlemen, the time has finally come! Us administrators have debated about this for what seems like months. We are finally pleased to offer you the next way to spend an hour a week for the next few weeks:
The Fraternity Knockout!
Being that Blood Bowl in the only 'real' sport in the Old World (DungeonBowl is more akin to Cricket or Arena League Football...) a big argument has broke out. Of all the Universities and Colleges the Old World has to offer, each and every single one thinks their program is the best. They offer THE best recruits to the Pro Blood Bowl Teams. Their players are the best recruits. Their 'farm' system (no, not like Auld) is superior to everyone else's!
What is only natural?
Of course... Of course... (the question was only rhetorical) Settle it on the pitch.
Prove your Fraternity/College is king! Prove you're the best coach in the Iron Phoenix. You don't need a slew of blitzers, right? You don't need mutations, or block, or agility, or any of that mess!!! All you need are 10 of the 'best' linemen on the pitch plus a pompous positional player to prove your program is tops!
The Rules:
You may choose any available team you want. HOWEVER, there are restrictions. They are as follows:
Your team must be comprised of the 'lineman' players. The lino is the player/position on your team that is 0-16. i.e. hobgobs for chorfs, beastmen for chaos, rotters for nergle and so forth...
You may only choose 1 (one!) additional positional player for your roster. And it may not be a big guy if you have a non-stunty team. That means 1 blitzer, or thrower, or ghoul, or Wolf, or whatever else. If they're not 0-16, then you can only have 1!
Stunty teams may choose only 1 big guy, even if they are allowed 0-2 normally. In the case of Gobbos, they may select a single big guy and single secret weapon. Or two secret weapons with no big guy. Lizardmen (since the skinks are 0-16 are hence lumped in with the stunties) can only choose the Krox or the Saurus. Not both.
Stunty teams are: Goblins, Halfling, Ogre and Lizardmen.
Teams NOT allowed are: Dwarves, Amazon, and Norse (we figured it was waay too overpowered to start with all block or dodge and build from there...)
Skillups for the 0-16 positionals will be handled as follows: If your players only have general skill access, then pick away just like normal. On doubles you may select from all the skill choices. If your players have multiple skill access, i.e. elves have general and AG access, you can EVER only choose from one tree, regardless if you roll doubles or not. Same goes for mutations on Chaos and Nergele and UW.
Ok, for the 0-1 positional player; think of him as your Star. Think of him as the guy next in line to get called up to the 'big leagues'. You can only level that player up to LV4/ Emerging Star. At that point, senior people within your organization have noticed 'something special' with that player. The game after your player reaches LV4, he must be sacked and you must recruit a rookie positional player. Start the process all over again while you dominate the competition!
*edit* The above rule does not apply to your 0-16 linemen. They can go all the way to LV 7. Well... If they live long enough...
Mind you, this is not like the Cripple Cup whereas you must keep injured players of play without fan factor, RR's, or Cheerleaders. By all means, use them! Your poor linemen will need the help!
If at anytime you need to fire/ sack a player, then do so. Rehire and continue. Same with your 0-1 positional. If you find that the Ghoul you hired just sucks ass... Then fire the lazy bum and get a Wight in there!!!! I don't want a cake-walk; I want a challenge!
I understand TV will be all over the place. Roster size is 11 players minimum. TV minimum is set at TV 200.
As of this draft; there is no Race/Team limitation. If everyone wants to sign up with humans or orcs, the so be it. I just need to know your intentions. Reply to this post with:

League is called: Fraternity Knockout
