I haven't played Norse much to speak of to begin with, but I'm presented with a special situation being in the CC. I leveled up with my Yhettee (just a regular roll), and I'm not sure if I should use something other than conventional wisdom or not. I'm always a fan of Break Tackle on my big guys. Manco suggested Juggernaut. Maybe Mighty Blow would be first choice since it is the CC. Doubles wouldn't have been an issue... block 100%. Lots of options here though. What do you think?

In your play offs, You have Nurgle,Rats and Woodies i think. If you get the Woodies or Rats you might want to take tackle. If it is Nurgle then Juggs, Guard Mb.
Or just take Juggs anyway as you will turn over less.

Do you blitz with him all the time? Then probably Jugg. Mine does lino duty where he doesn't blitz much, so definitely would be MB for me. I don't use him to do much BT type work too, just there to protect his squishy team mates!

I don't use him to do much BT type work too, just there to protect his squishy team mates! I try not to blitz with him most of the time, even though I put him in a position to do so quite often. BT and Jug would probably work well together. I do like the idea of having MB in the CC though. Besides the utility of the skill, it kind of goes along with the theme of the cup... stacking up injuries and bodies. I know I will have all 3 eventually, if he lives. I've been willing him to die already, but he takes a licking and keeps on ticking. The yhettee and werewolf just kind of hinder things sometimes because it seems like they always get "both down" and skulls. Could be just my perception because the rolls that fail are the ones that matter more than anything. I guess that is an argument towards Jug itself (if I blitz). I guess I'll wait and see the match ups for now. Thanks for the advice guys.

Whether he's destined to be a roadblock or a killer - mighty blow is generally considered the 'must have' 1st skill. Much like the blood thirster they are the only 2 big guys with this glaring deficiency & this needs to be corrected quickly for them to spring to life.. with claw & frenzy already inbuilt its just screaming for MB. After that i do usually go for the guard + stand firm route (with ulfs & zerkers you'll always have far more reliable blitz power who {while they will need guard} won't want it quite as quickly as the big man!)

That's a very good point. My werewolf would fill the roll of fblitzer a lot better than the yhettee. Higher movement, better agility, better reliability. I'm not past putting dodge on ag2 and pretending he has ag4 when it comes to dodges. I've done it before. I know I'll do it again.

Don't use the werewolf as a blitzer to he has block.

I ended up taking Break Tackle. I used it quite a few times during the game and I think it was a good choice. That being said... I lost, so maybe not.
