Teams that played in Season 1
Coach Jester - Worri Yallock Miners (Dwarf)
One of the few old teams still round this team boasts the Holly roller, probably the deadliest death roller to ever go onto a blood bowl pitch (block, tackle, frenzy, guard, thick skull) sadly for the miners it lacked any real success, though it had its moments it was never enough to help them get more than 1 win and a draw for the season, the team still makes the odd shot at the title but rumor is the team is looking to retire.
Goodpass - Falcon Firebirds (High Elf )
The team did not lose all season long and ended up winning it all. They will forever be the greats team of all time
Insidious - Grummsh's Glaives (Orc)
A solid team, the glaives continue to fight for the title and want to be the first orc team to do so, they like to pass the ball more than most orcs and there thrower the Skud has one of the largest female orc followings, the orc ladies (for a better word) swoon as he passes them in the street, many say its because his actions are more like an elf, others say its his good looks, but with an orc that's hard to tell.
Gorbag1 - Gorland Harbringers (Undead)
This undead side made a good run at the title and was on equal points with the glaives, their Ghoul won the MVP of the season and look good till he was killed, after the season he was resurrected by a necromantic wizard fan. they Moved to the O.R.C.S league and not play not for titles but to makes a living so to speak
Mr Manco - The Borf (Chaos)
This chaos side showed promise early but injuries led to as slump at the end, They are still seen about from time to time, training and doing the odd advertisement for the Hoof show and their sponsors Smear, the pain relief hemorrhoid cream. Fans may remember how when new players came into the side they took on the names of the coaches they played against, some say it was a sign of respect, others, it was to confuse the other teams. We dont know as they have had a media ban since the report of the drug scandal in season 3.
Hirumazeo - The Blood Blues Band (chaos)
This Chaos side seems now more like a one hit wonder with only 1 win and 4 losses this team came last and has since moved on to the Auld league where teams fade into obscurity, but some fans may still fondly remember players like BB King II, James Brown III and Jhon Lee Hooker IV and how they used sing and perform at the half time break rather than go into the locker rooms to rest and get instruction for the second half. Maybe thats why they didnt play so well.
MVP of the Season - Carnivorestalker - Gorland Harbingers coach by Gorbag
this Ghoul tied the league in touchdowns 4 total but led the league in rushing yards 232 yards, had 14 passing yards. His work for the feed the undead charity has helped get more body donations in 1 year than in the 10 years the charity has been around. He has since retired from blood bowl and runs a a local cemetery and bar the headless player.
Teams that played in Season 2
Goodpass - Falcon Firebirds (High Elf ) W5 D0 L2
Again season champions this team went back to back in immortal, we may never see its like again. but the cracks started to show asthey lost 2 games.
Mr Manco - The Borf (Chaos) W4 D1 L2
runners up this team may be remembers for having the most kills in a season with 5 and were feared to be the ones to topple Goodpass, sadly for the borf it was not to be as it became a 1 sided final.
Coach Jester - Anubis Serpents (Khemri) W3 D1 L2
the team came in 3rd place. The Serpents are the oldest team by far in iron phoenix, they started off when it was know as iron breakers and won the pharaoh fest cup, later under tow of the best throw ra's of the game they became feared by most as Throw ra and Grand father to elf throwing star Hansel, had the strength of a tomb guard. sadly he as with the other throw ra died before iron breakers became iron phoenix. but this did not stop them and though they have not got back yet to the glory days of old this team did get to see super star tomb guard the big fella get into the hall of fame. this is also one of the few team to beat the firebirds in the regular season, but lost out to them in the playoffs
The Grudge Bringers W2 D2 L2
This team came in at 4th and did well for a first shot at the title, but like all dwarf teams they dont have the legs to keep up with big scores. It also didnt help they were the only team not to kill a player. Little is known what happened to the team, some say they were sold to a big mining company, others that the players were sold into slavery.
Insidious - Grummsh's Glaives (Orc) W1 D1 L3
This is the season thrower for the Glaives made his name, The skud out threw even most of the firebirds in total yards, but even with his never say die play it was not enough to see them get into a finals spot
Gorbag1 - Gorland Harbringers (Undead) W0 D1 L4
Rumor has it in a ritual gone wrong before the season coach gorbag offended Nuffel, this led to the team not winning a game and some of the worst luck ever seem, it also had the affect of having the team leave town and go to the O.R.K.S league.
MVP of the Season - Darktelefax - The Borf coach by Mr. Manco
He tied the league is scores with 4TD's had 8 passes (even more than any firebird) Tied for pass yards with 76 and 2nd in rushing with 230 yards. He almost single handily got the borf a title, alas it was not to be.
Teams that played in Season 3
Coach Jester - Worri Yallock Miners (Dwarf)
Back for Season 3 and with that Death roller, But like so many dwarf teams they fail to score more than 1 or 2 per game and that cost them as many teams just played to outscore them knowing they didn't have the legs for it, The coach has said he will try to bring them back at some point but even he is not a fan of coaching this team, as he put it they are just too damn slow. also this team was involved in many scandals, including a wife beating attack, durg charges, and an attempted match fix that was stopped just in time and the shamed runner got a life time ban
HAVOL - Border Crosses (Human )
This team was almost unstoppable, wining almost every game but the one that counter the most. thrower Eber Delchasam can do it all, run, pass, even play defense and pick off passes, he also runs a modeling agency and ice creamery chain The Choc Top its a big favorite of players with no teeth left.
Insidious - Grummsh's Glaives (Orc)
This team knew how to win when it mattered the most, the glaives got to the finals almost unnoticed and was out the door with the trophy before any knew what happened, but now they are known and they wont have as easy time of not being noticed. One player to stand out was thrower Skud though his numbers were not spectacular he did start to shine late in the season, expect him to rise to fame next season
We dont know as they have had a media ban since the report of the drug scandal this season. It now seems the team has disbanded.
Gorbag1 - Gorland Skulls (Orc )
This team made it to the playoff, their unique brand of hard nose blood bowl combined with tricky pass plays and shifty goblins helped get Goblin Gimalob the Season MVP.
Deano - Handcuffed To Dwarfs (Khemri)
At the start of the season this team looked to be the Khemri team of the future, one to surpass the Anubis Serpents. It turned out to be a one hit wonder, though the team started well and played strong the in house fighting was rampant. They played like individuals and not a team, too many wanted to be captain, in the end the team disbanded.
Goodpass - Falcon Firebirds (High Elf )
The champs came back for a 3rd straight shot at the title, but too many shocked fans, the team walked away form the season just as they made the playoffs their spot was given to the team next in line on the ladder. Many fans are still outraged at the teams and coach for walking away and dream of what could have been. It is believed to have been over player rights and pay, some say it was also done to bring to light some of our endangered forests, this last rumor was found to be false and was started by The Utopian Unicorns a wood elf team with high political views.
MVP of the Season - Gimalob (Goblin) - Gorland Skulls coach by Gorbag
Though some say he just snuck in and scratched his name on the Trophy, ButWith 5 catches 4 Touchdowns and even a kill in a short 6 game season,(Average per game is 0.83 catches 0.66 TD 0.16 kills) this shifty goblins was everywhere and proved he was a MVP
Teams that played in Season 4
Coach Jester - Night Hawks (human)
The Hawks have worked their way up through the leagues and mad the play off in every one of them but never won the big game, now they are out to prove they can take it all and there is no better league to be champion in than the Immortal Throne. Led by Uther Pendragon, a quaterback that is a real field general, and is also a nice guy off the field with all his charity work for retired blood bowl players, a very humble player, always singing the praises of his team mates.
Player to watch: This is a real teams team and so we cant single out one player, rather we look to the Shatner brothers, all 4 work as a solid unit and seem to be everywhere on the field at once. In 34 games the 4 have accounted for 6 deaths (they each have at least 1 each ) 33 Injured and 8 touchdowns, though the oldest of the 4 (Hugo) plays with a broken neck it has not slowed him down, he claims it has even helped him focus better and is now better at holding the line.
Jounisii- Sour Saurii (Lizard)
Winners of last seasons Iron Crown, they now try their hand at the big title, this team is a strong finals contender as the seem to make it to most play offs. Led by Grumpy Gharial, a hard hitting saurus on both sides the ball, the team always seems to rally around him and when he is having a great game the team normally wins, it is also rumored he will star in the next cable vision movie "Dragon wars"
Player to watch: #9 Intense Iguana, this sink is the teams runner and in 36 games has 32 touchdowns and a massive 1558 yards rushing, a very hard player to bring down and i expect him to led the league this season in scores
Insidious - Grummsh's Glaives (Orc)
This team made it to the finals in season 1 but lost to the firebirds, But in Season 3 went all the way won and are the defending champions, Led by Skud an orc that not only can run but likes to throw, has he got some elf blood in him i wonder? same say he maybe the love child of star elf player and fashion model Hansel.
Player to watch:#9 Gorfang Da Brain. In his 57 games he has killed 4 players and Injured 21 others. He is an imposing black orc and can not be moved off the line, a real team player helping team mate get the blocks done, sets a solid wall and is a hard hitter
Gorbag1 - Gorland Skulls (Orc)
Though this team has not made any finals it always seems to be in there fighting hard for a spot, and on many an occasion been known to throw a spanner in the works of other teams, some say coach Gobag upset Nuffle at some point as it often seems just as the game is in his grasp nuffle steps in to upset the apple cart. The team is led by Grak, a star blitzer with the ability to bring down most elf players, he leads with his trademark inspirational tackles and seems to always be throwing himself around the field. and another though not an orc is the heart and soul of the team, goblin star Gimalob, always making jokes and keeps them all in good spirits.
Player to watch: Grubnash Goug'Hearts he is one of the largest black orcs on the field , many say he is as big as most ogres and trolls only smarter he will hold up 2 or 3 players from most team with his power and that will free up others to get the glory, a hard working blocker that will win most fights in the trenches
Hudd - White- Handz (Orc)
Pound for Pound this has to be the strongest Oce team to grace the hallowed Blood Bowl pitches of the Immortal league. You may think this team is all about Ugrsh, one of the most violent blitzes around, but this is a team that have all hit the weight rooms, even Zear the Goblin looks more like an orc. They have Black Orcs that like to be in the thick of it, lucky coach Hudd can keep them in line as these guys tend to be less disciplined as they chase the players more than the ball, well thats your usual orc team. A new trend seems to be happening with orc teams of late, they are starting to throw the ball more like elves but not Gluva and this team only 9 passes in 39 games he like to run the ball and score the touch down himself.
Goodpass - Falcon Firebirds (High Elf)
After leaving last season and not attempting to defend the title Goodpass and the Firebirds are back, they have shown resilience, versatility and above all courage and this season they will need it more than ever before. Its a bash heavy league once again but that has not stopped them before, they have seen great teams take their best shots at them and missed, can they do it again? only one way to find out. Stay tuned fokes this is going to be a hell of a season.
MVP of the Season - Intense Iguana (Skink) - Sour Saurii coach by Jounisii
This little guys plays big lead the league with 10 TD's and a whopping 592 yards rushing, that is 184 more than any other player. This was done in a 10 game span (Average per game is 1 TD 59.2 yards rushing 2.4 yards passing)He has even passed the ball two times for 24 yards, always giving it his all he has a never say die attitude, lets hope he stays that way, a real fan favorite.
Teams that played in Season 5
Coach Jester - Anubis Serpents (Khemri)
This taem was here back in season 2 and plan to do better than the 3rd place they got back then. The serpents still have many of the old veterans like hall of fame tomb guard Da Big Fella, but thay have some new faces too. this team is one of the oldest, and have played 98 league games, so we will see history this season as this will be the first team to play 100 games.
The Tomb guards will Be Da big fella, maybe the greatest to play the position he has only missed 4 games and as he has played in 94 games it looks likely we will get to see him pay his 100th this season another first with 7 kills and 71 casualties 2 TD and even an int he can do it all. Back with hi is another vet Rampeesonyou he has payed 92 games and has the most TD's between the TG's on the team with 4but he is the only tomb guard that has not got an int. He likes to dominate the other end of the line and is very good at it. he is also the joker on the team, like when he stuffed wish bones locker with 4 squashed refs and the heads of all the Darkside Icecat players, oh how we all laughed. Then we have TG Tank though he has only played in 59 games he has 3 kills and 3 TD's, the team call him the wall, a very hard player to move if he dose not want to. And lastly the rookie Twotonramcock the 2nd, but dont be fooled and think he is a rookie in his 27 games he already has an int and this season he has his sights set on getting his first kill. Other players of note, blitz ra Rotten Ribs Robberts is still here and has the most kills on the team with 8 but is now but is now showing the signs of a player ready to retire and with a broken neck fractured skull and a smashed knee we dont blame him but he said he will try to play the season out even though he knows he is often targeted by the opposition. the Shatner Spirit has only played 2 games and is the youngest on the team, but its the other rookie, throw ra Fast Fredie Fuibula that fans are already starting to whisper him and the new Grandfather Hansel, he is already showing signs of the strength the Great one had and though not yet as strong as another TG like GFH was he is still young, lets hop we get to see the likes of GFH again
Doc Oz - Pur'pl Pee'pl Eatr's (Orc)
This it the the teams and coaches first appearance to the league. They have a Thrower, Sorth Longfinger who looks to be another orc with dreams of being a hall of fame player known for passing, and well experienced Blitzes lead by the biggest orc to ever play the position, Takzog has muscles on his muscles and he can bench press a troll. "Thw Wall" as they are known by the fans is the Black orc of the team, they are young but pride themselves on controlling the field , it will be fun to watch them grow as a unit. New on the team are Troll Lazyvomit TinkyWinky and his long time friend, Goblin Takzog's Pet Gobbo, no one knows his real name and yes he is Takzog's Pet, but this little guy asked for Lazyvomit to be on the team and now the 2 are inseparable, we may see them team up for the ol gob throw a few times this season, a thing the fans always love to see.
Michaels - Calamitous Intent (Nurgle)
Another new team and coach to the league it is also the first Nurgle team to play in the big show. Like most nurgle it is a mixed bunch with a mix of inexperienced and veterans in key positions, but its the Pestigors that are the heart and soul of the team. there tactic is simple yet affective, knock you down, jump on you, jump on you some more, kill you, and then score. Normaly Tra'gors will do the scoring, whil;e Dr. Girlfriend puts the hurt on you, if your on the field against them run, but dont turn your back as they use every dirty trick in the game to get you killed and you may wake up finding you have been added to the team, you just wont look and smell like you used to.
Jounisii- Sour Saurii (Lizard)
winner of last season they are back to defend the title and with the firebirds not playing this season and with last seasons MVP Intense Iguana back and looking to break more records this team has to be the favorite to take it out again.
Deano79- Delf Delights (Dark elf)
Another first time team to the league but this team is no stranger to some of the other teams, in friendly exhibition games they have played and beaten Calamitous Intent and also played but lost to the Anubis serpents, some suspect they played these games for inside knowledge so as to be ready for the season. Fans are already calling the team the double D's and its is more likely not because the teams names start with D but most likely its in tribute to the two witch elves Calfenam and Lilriarna. Players who have had to face these two lovely's on the field have claimed they have the power of a hypnotic gaze, but others claim that the stunned players were not looking into their eyes at the time, its hard to know if this is true as most fans and coaches alike are looking at another part as well.
Goodpass- Jumpy Harpies (Wood elf)
Coach goodpass is back but with a new team, some say it is because the firebirds are upset with the coach for pulling the team out in overtime of last seasons final. But lets keep focus on this team, little is known abouth them but it is coach goodpasss so we know by seasons end we will know a lot more about them, some are tipping them to be in the final just because Goodpass is the coach. Catcher Rhunr Sphryt has the type of speed that few but the best gut runners have and so is a scoring threat at any time of the game and at the other end is what maybe the slowest tree to ever play Bloodbowl when stood Aroot is questioned about how slow he is he only responds with "slow and steady wins the day" and he has been known to sharpen his branches into spears, lets wait and see what sort of kill count Stood racks up.
This team sadly like most elves left mid season when thing didnt go their way, The great Coach Goodpass incurred a 2 season ban from the league tarnishing his legacy.
HAVOL - Border Crosses (Human )
Jumping in on short notice to fill the vacated spot goodpass left is the Border Crosses, a Human team that is back to the spotlight from Season 3. Tough, versatile and unpredictable you can never count this team out. Though starting late gives them little chance to make the playoffs none the less this team will be a force and likely to play spoiler to others with deams of the title. Thrower Eber Delchasam can do it all, run, pass, even play defense and pick off passes, he also runs a modeling agency and ice creamery chain The Choc Top. Its a big favorite of players with no teeth left.
MVP of the Season - Sorth Longfinger - Pur'pl Pee'pl Eatr's coach by Doc Oz
Though he is an orc he plays more like an elf, pickups on the run, long deep throws, passes in the rain, he did it all. Although Intense Iguana broke the old record of 10 TD's in a season and got 11, it was Sorth's all round performance that got him the votes needed. In only 9 games he got 3 TD's made 11 passes for 144 yards and ran for 176 yards, he also proved he could catch the ball getting 3 receptions, and he got his team to the final.
Teams that played in Season 6
HAVOL - Border Crosses (Human)
Appearing for their 3rd attempt at the Immortal Throne is this band of intrepid humans, fearless in the face of all the bashers who inhabit this rarified air. Led by ultra-potent blitzer Gerhart Valdric, this team has eyes only for victory. And maybe some orc blood. Can Coach Havol finally take that trophy? Only time will tell.
Michaels - The Hamnurglars (Nurgle)
These newcomers to Immortal arrive well equipped with claws and lots of muscles, but that doesn't mean they won't be a nightmare on the passing game. Just like all high level nurgle, they'll be a real challenge for every team that crosses their disgusting path. And every week Coach Michaels is sure to exact a price in blood from his opponents.
Doc Oz - Pur'pl Pee'pl Eatr's (Orc)
And now we meet the first of our orc contenders. After losing a heartbreaker in last season's final, the Eatr's are back for a second run at iron (and maybe a little revenge on the Sour Saurii). Led by what may be the scariest core of blitzers IP has ever seen, these orcs are bent on claiming the big prize this time around. Can Coach DocOz close the deal this time around?
Coach Jester - The Utopian Unicorns (Wood Elf)
Another team of newcomers to Immortal this season, the Unicorns may be the most courageous creatures in all of Iron Phoenix. They'll have to rely on their speed and wiles to protect them, because their armor surely won't. Up and down Immortal are killers, but no one has anything close to the ball skills these elves boast. Let's hope treeman Peter Northwood can help Coach Jester put some big fellas to sleep this season.
Gorbag1 - Gorland Skulls (Orc)
Here we have our second orc contender. After a season away, the Skulls return to take another shot at the throne. While their blitzer core is young, they carry a pair of quality throwers and a nice crew of black orcs. And a level 5 goblin? Who ever heard of such a thing? The fact that he's still alive is a testament to just how slippery he is. Coach Gorbag is looking to take the league by storm and do some serious damage to his opponents.
Hudd - White- Handz (Orc)
More orcs? When will it end? The Handz are veterans of Immortal, returning after a season away, and looking mean as ever. As strong as any team in iron, and led by the near-legendary Ugrsh, these orcs won't stop until they smash everything in sight. With a couple AG boosts and a strong group of black orcs, this team seems capable of competing with anyone. Coach Hudd might just take them to the top.
Parrigan Niall - Banana Warriors (Lizardman)
Who are these upstarts? The newest lizard entry to Immortal, the Warriors are looking to continue their recent run of success as last season's Iron champions, but the competition is a lot nastier here. Led by uber-skink Rama, they hope to run the gauntlet and come out the other side a bigger, better kind of champ. It's doubtful the other 7 competitors will take it easy on them. Can Coach Parrigan perhaps grease a few palms to ease their passage? Not likely.
jounisii - Sour Saurii (Lizardman)
And here we have the two-time defending champions of Immortal: the Saurii. Coach jounisii has led these boys to 3 championships, one in Iron and two in Immortal. Can Grumpy Gharial and company be stopped? Will the only resident legend in Immortal, Intense Iguana, continue building on his legacy? Or will it all come crashing down in their third season? It would be unwise to bet against them.
