The Falln Angels, a team of dark elves possessed by the Devil's greatest demon soldiers, dark angels, and legion commanders. The dark elf hosts hail from the northern Bruk'Arai cave system deep in the norse lands. The Queen witch triplets of the historically reclusive Bruk'Arai had decided to put together a blood bowl team to compete in the last Rivendell Invitational. In order to gain favor from their most evil of deities, the witch queens held a massive ritual sacrifice. The result of this unholy gathering was the Angel's players becoming possessed by Hell's demons. The demons used their dark elf hosts to smash their way through the Rivendell Cup, causing more casualties by far than any other participating team, and scaring the rosy piss out of the other participating elf teams. Despite a strong season, the Falln Angels fell to only other dark elf team in the semifinal match vs. coach Hudd. Now they are back and entered into the Bronze Shield competition. Led by their star blitzer Leviathon, and coach Rocketdeath, the Falln Angels hope to go all the way this season. Team Captain Leviathon is a scary player for opposing teams. Leviathon is known to be unstable. Despite only having 8 games under his belt, he is the second most violent player in the league, second only to the Wolfmen of the Old World's Yeti who has had many more games to rack up his own casualties. The Falln Angels are a darkie team thats been built to bash. It served them well in the Rivendell Cup but here in the Bronze Shield, they might have a hard time against the heavier squads.
MD1 the Falln Angels were matched up against Wingsteel's solid undead squad, Blitzkreigd. As predicted, the Angel's struggled with the stronger team. With less guard, less mighty blow, and less strength, the Angels were hard-pressed to keep their players on the pitch. They lost a player on turn 1 and then played the whole rest of the game down men, at some points having only 6 players on the pitch. This led to a well deserved 2-0 win for Blitzkreigd. Luckily however, the dark elves suffered no serious injuries and are at full strength going into MD2. Team Captain, Leviathon, does not take defeat well and will surely come into their next match out for blood. Between now and then however, a word of warning, if you see that enraged dark elf stomping around, steer well clear of him. He has been known to murder innocents and anybody that gets within arms reach when he is in a mood.
