It feels like farming. With the challenge option you can select your more favourable match up, and have a good chance of gaining from the selected game. This V a league or cup game where good match ups are few and far. So I feel like I'm cheating if I dont accept a challenge from a death kill team. Im currently doing my best to build a ogre team to get into Bronze or there abouts. Your thoughts and habits would be most welcome please. " stop playing ogre" is not gunna cut it tho. Thanks Ted.

the challenge is only so i know what team you want to play the MM is an illusion to get the same result as a challenge i just put 1 team in the selection of teams i am spinning and if you spinning i will get you anyway you can say i dont want to play that team can i play your what ever team you want to play also MM i dont think will match up a 400+ TV gap and if i want to play my flings i want to be 800TV lower than you the challenge system lets me do 3 min games and we start right away i never pick a match up that is awesome for me and you cant win TBH i dont care about the win in the open, i use it to test skill combos and builds and try to get my teams healthy again for me they are exhibition games for the fans, why i also dont foul (unless fouled) in the open (my flings play softer in the open)

Ted, you have a point. If it feels like farming it probably is. If both teams are competing in staring each other down during the match without any blocks made it surely is farming. For the most part I see the open as a training ground, a brutal training ground. The so called recovery or friendly matches have mortal accidents all the time. You are allowed 3 matches in the open between normal Seasons. My suggestion, do 2 and only a 3th the moment you have some crucial MNG ( Miss Next game ). Using challenge mode you can cherrypick your opponent, it's your own responsibility what kind of opposition you meet. Killer teams can be evaded and favorite opponent races invited ( perhaps you want to train against a specific race ). Pick those matches that give you a good feeling. Goblins and Halflings most of the time like to be the underdog as inducements can improve their gameplan. Have fun in the open.

My approach in the short time I've had the Bryhihm Grove Poetics in the Open is to take on teams with the closest TV and create an equal setting to the best of my ability. I know that the Wood Elves currently are 0-2-1 and at TV 1070. If you see me around I'll take you on
