3-2 to Sir Ted Bundy in Occupational Hazards vs his Lords of the Snake Eyes, who really weren't, though they were lord of skulls, with 2 doubleskulls, lord knows how many singles, and 4 skull/both down 2-dicers. he also failed a couple crucial GFis, but not enough to stop him scoring with those damned stunties. Weirdly, we both also had an issue where pathing for a blitz showed a clear block chance, but had a "hidden" gfi...both of us failed it too! YAY Cyanide! Defence seemed practically non-existant, with only 2 failed gfis stopping him scoring even more, and a failed gfi,a failed 2+ dodge and a double one as the final roll (how fitting!) of my equaliser setup stopping me...this could easily have been 4-4 or even 5-5 given a bit of luck (or me having enough brains to not only take one reroll) Tale of the tape : 1s- 14 for me and 6 for Ted. Skulls- 8 for me, 16 for Ted. business as usual for us both!
Fully deserved win ted, your intial setup left you stranded but you adapted and overcame to mount a fantastic offence I couldnt do a damn thing about, gg sir. We have to play a "normal" match sometime, so far it's only been snake eyes, cripple cup etc!
Edit: Ted had to go immediately after the game, think he had work. I've uploaded to BBM despite losing as it isnt showing that he did so, and when I asked he had already logged out. if it's been doubly uploaded it's me presuming it wasnt done and jumping the gun, so please let me know.

The Yoricks finished their regular season shamble with a 2-0 loss, but they threw yet another pass! And they did a little more smashing along the way. The twist: if my numbers are correct, Wingsteel and I both finished with 85 skulls for the season. If either Groovy or Ted come up with 22 in their respective matches, they pass us. Otherwise it appears to be a dead heat. What's the tiebreaker? Head to head, and Wingsteel wins. 1s, and I win. Something else? Or will it all be moot as Ted and/or Groovy fly past us? The tension mounts. At least on the skull side. Squiggy went and made the 1s race boring.

It'll be the 1's column for a skull tiebreak & the skull column for a 1's tiebreak.

The Robo Rats end this season with a 1-1 draw against the hated lizards. as an overall review of the season id say I done fairly well in the 1s department but couldn't compete in the skulls mainly cause half the time my guys where firmly stuck to the ground

3-1 to the elfy BS against groovy's norse. Standard game really, elves dodging everywhere, norse bashing hard. Elves finished with 5 men on the field, a statbust and an mng. norse had 2 deaths, thoguh apoc saved one, from the only 2 knockdowns of the second half! Shame the loner did the damage...
Tale of the tape : 1s- 15 for me, 7 for groovy. About normal. Skulls - *drumroll* 5 for me, 20 for pawn! A sterling effort! Pawn also got 2 snake eyes, and 3 doubleskulls, in the space of four turns, a true effort to attract the attention of Great lord Nuffle. GG sir, sorry about the death, elfy BS, even with a one-fest, limps into the final.

Wow, if my math is right, Groovy finished with 84 skulls, just one fewer than Wingsteel and I. And since Mercy tells us the 1s column is the tie-breaker, it looks like the woodies have the easiest road to a championship they possibly hope to draw.
That's right: The Yoricks.
Is it true? Or am I hallucinating? Will The Yoricks shamble one last time onto the Spike pitch?
Grandaddy Yorick has this to say: "NNnnnnnggggghhhh." Very insightful.

Turn 14, skull/both down, skull/both down, doubleskull, (rr) skull/push, doubleskull! So close!

Depending on how this one goes, I may be sorely tempted to set the Wickeds and Crash Bannister aside for a season and send the Yoricks to Bronze...

Occupational hazards 4:1 The Yorricks A silly game, with silliness aplenty. AG5 elfy BS vs zombies, zombies, zombies and zombies. All of which became completely irrelevant when it started raining, and frankly watching PN trying to pick up the ball became painful He did manage one magnificent drive, aided and abetted by no less than three 1,rr,1 dodge rolls for me, to score an equaliser, send the teams in at half-time at 1-1, and with 16 vs 9 it was looking interesting. Then suddenly, elfy BS. My dice remembered there were other numbers except one on them, and suddenly elves, elves everywhere. Poor PN couldnt get near the ball without being harassed, and two unlucky pickups/bounces led to two relatively easy (for ag5 in the rain) TD runs. Tale of the tape: 1's: Me 23, PN 6! Skulls: Me 4, PN 14Sorry PN, you were up against it from the start, but once again your zombies (and golem) did you proud, and again had me worried. So glad the major damage you did was to loners, aside from a dead thrower the team are relatively unscathed, and I have to say I'm very very tempted to take em to bronze... Also, my first post-season win AND first IP title, yay! Thanks for running this mercy, never get tired of the wonderful variations on comps you admin types come up with, and this one ranks alongside Cripple as my favourite. thanks for your work and effort in a great tourney. EDIT: Fao Mercy. I may have uploaded this twice, BBM and BB decided they weren't getting along, and BB crashed while I was uploading the first attempt. Redid it but I think its saying it's been uploaded twice now, just so you know.

It was a great first half for the Yoricks, and a horrendous second half, mostly thanks to the rain (bad news for ag2 teams) and the world's most pathetic wizard. He had both WDs and 2 other woodies in his crosshairs, rolled 1,2,2,3 on the fireball - total fizzle. But that just kept it from being a 3-2 loss (if I got lucky) instead of 4-1. GG Squiggy. Like I said, you couldn't have hoped for a better matchup for this one. It was preordained that you'd get to run up the score.

As an aside, The Yoricks now need to find a new home. It seems I've grown attached.
