Chaos Cup Playoffs - Round 1 Ladies and gentleman, the Chaos Cup has now entered into the playoff round. One loss and YOU ARE OUT! Its do or die. Sacrifice to your twisted Gods and strap on your armor because its time to decide whos gonna bring home the Chaos Cup. To win this illustrious Cup of Chaos you must now win 3 matches in a row against the best that the Chaos Competition has to offer. You must survive in matches against the biggest and baddest demented big guys that the Chaos Gods have to offer and send them home crying to their mommas. Do you have what it takes to raise that cup high? Are you the favored squad of our chaotic Gods? Round 1 has been seeded. Now let the Blood Bowl begin!!!
1Frozen Delight OniGoku vs Rocketdeath Metastatic Swarm8 The first vs. worst showdown. Frozen Delight finished the season with a perfect record of 7 straight wins. They have ample funding due to influential and wealthy backers from the northlands which has allowed them to build an unstoppable force here for the chaos cup playoffs. Roided up and super skilled players should leave the outcome of this game to be easily predictable with the norse winning by a landslide. The Metastatic Swarm squeaked through to the playoffs. They do have some good things going for them as their team is healthy and they will have some funding pre-game to do with as they see fit to try and even the odds but this norse squad will be a very tough one for the Swarm or any other team in this playoff to overcome.
4The Rat Pack Deano vs Tencoin Muppets Revenge5 The midseed matchup between much-loved veteran coach Deano and his skaven against the uber-friendly coach Tencoin and his hardhitting norsemen. Deano's Rat Pack are the predicted victors in this matchup. Its a classic slippery speed skaven team vs. the block heavy norse and would be a considered a closer matchup were it not for the injuries suffered by Muppets Revenge. Two northmen will be out for the match with crippling injuries leaving the Muppets fielding a bare bones 11-man squad. Of those 11, only a berserker and a runner are considered to be quality players by the odds setters and because of that, will have big targets on their backs. If the Muppet's yhetee comes to play and can do some early damage however than this game could go very different. The Rat Pack are a solid squad though and stopping there blinding speed and fancy footwork will be a challenge for the norse.
3Diminutive Suffering Caven08 vs JonL Its On Like Donkey Kong6 In this match, two chaos dwarf sides will meet on the pitch to see which crew of angry little men can advance to the next round. Diminutive Suffering are the favorites here. Their team has trained long and hard, and the chorfs on the team coordinate blocks together superbly. They also have a mighty minotaur that will add some strength to help them overwhelm their competition. The Kong chorfs are just bit weaker in every facet of the game. Team builds aside, this match will be a down and dirty, stand up, bareknuckle brawl, and those kinds of matches are never predictable in blood bowl.
2UltimateFightingChampions Comforteagle vs Havol The Sin City Sinners7
At the bottom of the playoff bracket we have the 2 - 7 matchup between coach Comforteagle's seed 2 UFC and coach havol's seed 7 Sin City Sinners. Another mirror matchup, this one between two young chaos teams. This one is a true slugfest toss up with both teams looking healthy and ready to lock horns. Both sides have 4 scary looking chaos warriors, both sides have a big mean minotaur and both sides are at similar stages of development. Not much to separate these two teams at all but the gamblers out there might consider The Sin City Sinners as the safer squad to put their money on. The wolverine sized claws on the Sinner's minotaur is the separating factor here as it may allow that big guy to do some real damage to some of the bigger players of UFC. Once one side starts causing damage and gets the upper hand in strength, it could get ugly quick for the other.
Important: The posting deadline is Sunday July 12th. Matches are to be played by Friday July 17th at 23:59 GMT. Good Luck soldiers of chaos.

looks like you're 6 hours behind me, how about 11.30pm uk time/10.30pm GMT/ 4.30pm your time? Yep, I'm GMT-5. 4:30 pm my time suits me perfectly! If you need earlier, just message here, and I can do it. It is currently 0738 my time, so I will have plenty of notice. As for steam, I have never used it as a messaging device, so I couldn't really tell you what my chat name is. Thanks, good sir! i just looked at the time on this site, and I'm five hours behind it. If you want 10:30 GMT, wouldn't that be 5:30 my time? 4:30 my time would be 9:30 GMT, I believe. I can do either, just don't want to miss you, since it's much later where you are.

oni oni gokuuu, oni oni oxenspree. Don't ask, I don't even know what I just wrote. Weellll... tonight (Sunday) I got a game and turns out Im gonna have my kid all day, which is a bummer for blood bowl. Monday I am not gonna schedule anything because I will be at my girls grampas house which apparently has even more unreliable internet than I had previously thought so not relying on that ever again. Tuesday on I believe I am free every night which is 8pm+ GMT-4 start times. That work at all?

Diminutive Suffering 3-0 It's On Like Donkey Kong
A very brutal Chaos Dwarf mirror match! Suffering had a Bull Centaur killed and their ball-handling Hobgoblin will miss the next match. Donkey Kong suffered five injuries, one to Star Player Grashnak Blackhoof that probably turned the game. The Dwarf blockers bashed each other all night, and DS was able to take advantage of numbers to get the victory.
GG JonL. I know I would have been very frustrated at the way the dice rolled if I was on the other end of it. It's next to impossible to play your opponent AND the dice. Thanks for the game. I look forward to seeing you on the pitch again.
