Would you ever pick Wrestle for a Saurus Coach? My thinking is that Lizard teams are skill light, and Wrestle being a block tackle hybrid? Ive not seen it picked tbh. Also looking to cancel the blodge players on min max teams, is this the answer?
Thanks Ted.

The short answer, yes. I've seen a few around. But there's a couple of problems with wrestle build. Wrestle saurus would be the ballhawk and/or sweeper of the team. He can also be used to punch a hole in defensive line. To be effective in those roles he needs both tackle and BT. Without tackle block/tackle build is usually better in those tasks. And BT is needed to keep the bastard mobile and not to be tied by 1 idiot lino. 31 SPPs ain't that easy to get with saurii... And getting those necessary SPPs. With early saurus block accumulates those points faster against blockless pieces. Since lizzies really need reliable saurii with some skills, I wouldn't start to build that wrestle guy early on. On the contrary, he probably would be the last saurus to get his 1st level. For example Sour Saurii has now 6 lvl3 or better saurii. When the next one buys the farm, I'll consider building a wrestle saurus. And there's a downside to him as well. I wouldn't put wrestle saurus in an important position in a screen or defensive line. Or to a cage corner that is likely to be attacked. Getting him down is too easy even with 1d block. In general block/tackle saurii are enough to handle blodgers. Even if it's a minmax team. Wrestle build is for spesific roles on the pitch. And remember, the real key to winning against minmaxers is ferocious booting

I'm with you on this one, Jounisii. I've seen wrestle saurii and I don't like 'em, for pretty much exactly the reasons you described. I'll add a couple things: wrestle limits his ability to keep up with the action, unless you plan to roll doubles and give him jump up (nooo!!), and deliberately leaving a saurus on the ground invites the boot to the guy who probably took the longest to develop.
Which brings me to another question: is there ever a good reason to take doubles on a saurus? Honestly I can't think of one, unless they're all fairly well developed already (say as 4th or 5th skill).

Ah, the prodigal son returns after his triumph The downsides you mention, Parrigan, I consider minor. Those wouldn't shy me away from building wrestle saurus. But to your question. I would pick dodge as soon as possible after block. It combos with BT. Add SF to the mix and he becomes an absolutely assholish anchor piece. Other choices are way more marginal. Leader very late in development could trim your TV a bit or give you that extra rr. In elf or dodge rich environment diving tackle might come into question for a block, MB, tackle saurus. Quite usual agility skill that is picked with dubs aka side step isn't worth it because you have a similar positioning skill in SF on normals. Apart from those, I don't see too many good options but experiment away, if you feel like it.
