Updated rules regarding Phoenix Open:
1) You can play a max of 3 games during off-season. 2) If your team is in the playoffs each playoff match counts as 1 off-season game in Phoenix Open. IE: Moooo played 1 playoff game from Tin then was eliminated they can now only play 2 off-season games. 3) No team can play another team more than once. You can play the same coach more than once but not the same teams against one another. 4) You can have as many teams as you want in Phoenix Open but must still adhere to the League Rules depending on what team/league you're entering. IE: Tin is for fresh teams only. If you have two teams that are in the required TV range for Bronze you may pick which one you want to use for the upcoming season & post that pick in the appropriate forum thread. 5) You can choose to not accept a challenge from an opponent. No one likes people cherry picking matches. 6) You can use the Phoenix Open thread to schedule matches if you know you're availability.

Phoenix Open has been reset (a bit on the late side...totally my fault so call me names or whatever) so feel free to get up to 3 games per team in for the season. I'll reset again once we hit playoffs & for every playoff thereafter.

How do you place a new team in the Tin League? The tin league is an organised league that kicks off every few months, and when a new season begins, you simply post in the correct place with your team info/username etc, and an admin will get you in, depending on space. Right now it's mid season, and so unless someone drops out it is unlikely new teams can enter unfortunately. In the meantime, I'd look at phoenix open for getting some games under your belt, and maybe developing a team for one of the higher TV leagues like iron or bronze, as their seasons will also start "relatively" soon. I'm usually up for phoenix open games if I'm online, and thanks to us having coaches from all over the world, there is generally someone knocking around looking for a match

My pleasure sir if I can help, or if you have questions and nobody intelligent is about, I'll give it a go answering. Disclaimer:I may be wrong about anything and everything but will try! Seriously though, if you are interested in tin league play, then have a good think about what team you want to use, and maybe get some practice with them, before making a team for next season (tin is rookie teams), if you are more interested in playing a developed team, again have a good old think about which one, make a rookie team of that race, and pester an admin to put em in phoenix open, where you can play and develop them. You have anything between a few weeks and a couple months before the seasons start, depending on the league in question, which should be plenty of time to get rolling. Good luck and enjoy, and as I say, if I can help don't hesitate to ask (unless someone who actually knows wtf they are talking about is on, in which case ask them instead!)

... again, thank you very much (what brought me to this forum was a post from Rocketdeath)
kinda a advertisement for the league asking for 3 more teams... one team he asked for was Undead... I have never been in a private league before, so I figured I would sign up and see if I get picked. I really would like to take part in both leagues. If I am understanding it correctly, the Phoenix Open is the main league. While the Bronze and Tin are the minor or farm leagues. If possible I would love to enter my undead team, the Walking Dead Skins (Washington Redskins). As well as enter a a fresh team in the Bronze or Tin leagues.

... again, thank you very much (what brought me to this forum was a post from Rocketdeath) kinda a advertisement for the league asking for 3 more teams... one team he asked for was Undead... Quick rundown of leagues for clarity: Phoenix Open: An open league where you can play for fun or to develop a team. challenging is the main option, arranging games either on the forum or spur of the moment. No team limits, no TV limits, standard rules Tin & Bones League: A regular scheduled league with anything up to 32 players, with one game per week followed by playoffs for the higher teams who qualify at the end of the season. Rookie teams only, people start here and then if they are enjoying their team as it develops, move on to bronze. Bronze league: 1350 TV or lower, usually teams either developed in the phoenix open, or promoted from tin after a season playing and developing there. Same rules as above, one game per week (usually the week "rolls" wednesday, but that is subject to admin decision) Iron League: For more developed teams, I think the limit is 1550 but unsure. Usually teams with 2+ seasons in bronze/tin under thewir belt, or a well developed phoenix open team (I believe there is a minimum amount of games played there needed to qualify for this league if you do not rise up through bronze and tin) again, one game per week, standard rules Immortal: For the true stellar teams. Unsure on TV cap, but this is where the big dogs come to play, and you will not find me anywhere near this for the forseeable future Cripple cup: Stretcher league, new teams, hospital league for teams that have had a season to develop in stretcher. Again, one game per week. major change here, is no rerolls allowed, no apocethary allowed, no firing injured players no matter how crappy they become! Limitations on which teams you can play, usually to stop teams full of AV9/10 dominating as the squishies get squished. Gone in 40 seconds: Standard BB games, but 40 second turns. This has just finished, unsure if it will run again. Fraternity Cup: Standard rules, again one game per week (seeing a trend here? Many coaches play in multiple leagues, one game per week per league. You can enter as many as your time and eagerness allows usually). Main difference is here your team is consiting ENTIRELY of linemen (or their equivelant) except for ONE positional player (your captain/star) Reaper's Cup: New league run by Rocketdeath, not started yet, and I'm unsure on details as I don't play undead/necro teams usually, best asking him for details. I may have missed stuff, but thats the basic gist of it.

Seriously, you are the best... Now, that I understand it would be a fresh team in the Phoenix Open, and Tin leagues respectfully.

Seriously, you are the best... Now, that I understand it would be a fresh team in the Phoenix Open, and Tin leagues respectfully. Always happy to help where I can but if you want more detailed information, or specifics, best ask an admin. I have a reasonable working knowledge of these leagues just based on time here and experience playing, but people like Insidious, Manco, Deano, Hudd, Jester, Pdarby, and such, are the boss types and know a hell of a lot more and can correct anything I'm wrong on, or give you more specific info if needed.
