Not a very experience dwarf coach here, and have never used a Deathroller before, so I'm looking for some advice.
Have to meet Hudd's crazy amazon team next in Tin Cup, and he have way more guard than my dwarves. I kinda wanted to avoid the Deathroller, as I thought it would increase the TV too much, for something that could get kicked out right away.
But is it worth it? I imagine it could do some damage to the amazon rather quickly, but for it too pay off, I find that it have to give at least 2 casualties, and for the value, 3 casualties sound more like it, for it to be worth it's value.
Should I get it?
And if, I do have 12 players at this time, should I get rid of one of my dwarves to bring the TV down? Could get rid of a rookie runner or blocker.
Any advice is appreciated.

I say no. Zons are covered with dodge, and without tackle all the roller would do is push them around a little. Let your blockers keep the girlies pinned down and hope you can crack that av7 a few times.

With so much tackle against av7 I'd be more tempted to either spend that money on an extra reroll, or bribes, or, since Amazons are vulnerable to bad dice vs dwarves, probably bad habits. Knowing the tv of both teams would help but I can't get in-game atm.

The TV difference is me with 1280 and Hudd have 1330 (Assuming his level up is a normal skill roll).

I have every faith you can get a result but no point making it harder! If I was gonna alter anything it would be adding another blocker to maximise tackle. by my math that would give hudd inducements but not enough for anything useful (assuming I'm right in thinking blockers are 70k)

Yes, that is worth to consider. That would give him 20k and as you said, nothing valuable. I could also keep the 50k inducement and be lucky and get a +ag thower which give me a less desperate option for a pass, if need arise.

Your team, your call :-) both fine options, just throwing the idea out there.

I really appreciate it. Will take all the advice. And getting another blocker is still very worth to consider. Will probably make a last moment decision to keep Hudd just a little bit on his toes . An extra blocker is a sure thing where potions could be a waste

NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! a rookie deathroller is garbage, always never forget that. Even if by some miracle I got one with 2 double skills I wouldn't take one, especially at such a low TV as yours I don't think you should bother with a 13th player either. He will almost certainly not see any time on the pitch for this next match. If by some miracle Hudd can depitch 2 players by halftime your bench isn't going to save you. I would just go with the AG potion. A player that can reposition semi-easily will help you much more than B Babes that have nothing to do or an extra bench warmer who wont see the pitch Dorfs have poor synergy with inducements, but 13 players vs Zons is overkill Good luck. smash that bastard

I thought you had 11 and was counting on Hudd's usual luck to remove at least one. With 12 potions or a player bribe for sure.

Even if by some miracle I got one with 2 double skills I wouldn't take one You should see Jester's Deathroller on his Iron team! That thing'll make your pants get all tight...

Yeah, I'm happy you all feel the same way. I wasn't really planning on adding a deathroller to the team. But knowing now, that I have to play Hudd's amazon team, which look rather strong, I am trying to find options to turn it a little bit more in my favor.
Is going to use the inducement. Bribe is a good suggestion too, Squiggy.
