Just thought to be fair we should discuss Orcs in the same manner as Dwarfs.
This isn't me complaining that Dwarfs or Orcs are overpowered in any way just curious as to what people think of These two races since we have had quite the conversation about them. Personally I think every team is designed fine and its just a matter of playing to your Strengths (If you have any )

I realise this is partially reflected in the armour, but it's irritated me for years that dwarves get Thick Skull but orcs don't. Dwarf blockers and troll slayers should keep it, runners and blitzers lose it, and black orcs and orc linemen gain it. 2) orc throwers. Human throwers have the same statline as linesmen. Orcs get -av for the same cost. They should either be av9 OR ma6. 3) still not a fan of orcs having a troll. Still believe it should be an ogre.

I think Orcs are one of the best-designed rosters in the game -one of very few that allow you some real, viable choice in what you want your "final" team to look like -yes, even 4 gobbos can work!
They have a lot of skills even on a rookie team, which I think is good because it really gives the different teams and positions their own distinct character, but not so many that it makes them overperform at low TV (like Amazons, Dwarves and Undead arguably do) -they also have weaknesses that they really want a few advancements to address.
They're weaker than dwarves I would say, but not by much. And the low AV on the Throwers is counterbalanced by the low cost of the Blitzers - another neat thing about Orcs is that they demonstrate how rosters are balanced as a whole against other rosters, not by comparing each individual type of player to their counterparts.
If anything, they're a bit weak at high TV -with their low speed they struggle against developed elves even when they have lots of MB, Guard and Tackle (although they certainly can win) and they're at a distinct disadvantage against other bash teams with access to Claw. Orcs really suffer when they're outnumbered!

Only if we give dwarves immunity or resistance to wizards. Norse werewolves should start with claw, and really the whole norse team should get mutations on doubles. Why can't vampire's bite the opposition? Skaven need an assassin equivalent player. There should be an animosity rule between the chorfs and hobgoblins. wights and blitz-ras cost the same, but wights have AG3, somebody do something about that! The treeman should come with very long legs, because just look at those legs. Why the hell do Khorne cultists get passing access? Do you see what I'm getting at? Game balance takes precedence over fluff. The game is never going to meet the weird, arbitrary standards people think it should have. Why do we have to make orcs more powerful? Are they not doing just fine with just one mediocre positional and a lackluster big guy? If we are going to meddle with a race to make it stronger (and thank god we don't have that power) orcs are near or at the bottom of the list of teams to change.

I don't think I will ever make an orc team without goblins. I think on my Orc team, the goblins had the most personality and best action (yeah, I said personality. You don't sit and make voices and conversation for and between your players, while you are playing?)

I do it all the time bud don't worry and agreed Gobbos on the Orc team are just fun no real debate about that.

I was thinking of running an orc team with 4 goblins instead of black orcs for Tin next season. Still thinking it over though Anyhow I figure I should stop grumbling about these things because they aren't going to change. From now on I shall make only positive comments. Lets try one; Orcs are alright, and if you like playing them don't mind me. there. I said it

Do it! I've been running that build in the open, and next month taking them to ukbbl tabletop tournament. One thing though, surely it's not goblins but BOBlins

I just think more people need to get to know the lovable Green ones...lye with them, so to speak... Then you would know the Rainbow and Butterfly world that Orc teams really want to establish.
Look over there...it's a Unicorn!
