Cataract U. Stumblers v Pimpslap UniversityCoach Knockoff and Squiggy square off in this one. Both coaches are looking for their first trophy in the Iron Phoenix. Both Coaches have certainly worked hard to earn their spot in the final. How befitting that the top team in each group squares off in the final, eh? Cataract U.Anchored by a hearty core of linerats, Coach Knockoff and his Skaven look to run away with this one. The only team to sport a perfect record going into the final, Murmur No-eyes and company will look to put this one away in style! Hows that, you might ask?? Simple, dear friend. They plan to score quick and often. Pimpslap U.Using the best-possible tactic there is in this format (THE ALMIGHTY BOOT!), Coach Squiggy has certainly got his boys to perform. Rattling off five straight victories after the only defeat, The Professor of Violent Studies hisself has honed these future abusers into a well-oiled machine. Player to Watch:The Professor of Violence Studies is a bad dude! As the only player interested in the biggest biceps on campus, this fine gent can definitely turn the tables with a few well-timed blocks. If this man gets his punch on, then beware... The Prediction:I think the inducements will help decide this one. Sure, The Pimplsappers have the MB advantage, but never count out speed and the wily antics of a good coach! However, I see this coming down to well placed boot-to-the-head by Squiggy's students as the difference. Yes, he may get caught, but with a few bribes, will it really matter?? 2-1 for Pimpslap University in an upset. Gentlemen. Take your time and play the match. No rush. The servers will remain functional for at least another few months Please announce your match time as we will certainly want to spectate, if able.

Knockoff and I discusses this match while watching Hudd vs Andydavo, and we have agreed to play next week, Wednesday 6pm his time / 1am my time Thursday morning / on the stroke of midnight GMT. (Delete as geographically appropriate)
I'm going in the underdog. I'm coming out a blood covered IP champion.

Knockoff, afraid I need to cancel tonight's game, or at least reschedule. the missus has had another fit, which isnt unusual, but they believe it may be stroke related which means we have to go to the hospital and its highly likely they'll be keeping her in for CAT scan at the very least, possibly treatment, which means I have no idea what time I'll be back. With it being a final, I'm hopeful we can rarrange at a time that suits you once I know a little more, but I highly doubt I'd be back in time to play tonight if at all. Sincere apologies, but sadly this is one of the things that occasionally crops up and as a sole carer with a little kid there's not much I can do other than apologise and keep my schedule-once known- as widely open as possible for us to play at your convenience. Apologies once again.

I never thought I'd take so little pleasure in winning my first "real" IP title. I had two bits of bad luck, failed wiz and my MB guy failing 8/8 armour rolls on AV7...aside from that pretty much everything was coming up squiggy. knockoff had numerous chances to equalise, but chose the worst possible time for a doubleskull/1/skull combo, and I just had to throw meat in the grinder til time ran out. Disgusted at the lack of blood, my boys just couldnt break AV7, but I have NO room to complain about dice whatsoever, Nuffle played a huge part in this and frankly the better coach lost.
Sorry knockoff, it was a pleasure to play you, and I hope to do so again soon. HAVOL, thanks for running what has rapidly become one of my two favourite formats (along with CC) and some great writing along the way. Woo, undeserved title ahoy. Hopefully next one I will earn.

Fantastic match. Well earned, Squiggy. Best of luck next season, Knockoff.
Match validated and season ended. Also, all teams have been kicked.
Now... what to do about Season 4... Hmm...

Congrats Squiggy! You did it!!
Bring on season 4!! We should have enough experienced teams to run both a freshman, and a senior comp =P Can't wait to hit the pitch again with my gobs.
