Mr.Nails!! Glad you asked sir, yes indeed it will be new teams (1000TV max). You will then stick with that team for the duration of the qualifiers. The coach (coaches?) who win a ticket will then once again have to create a new team for the actual WC2016 itself.

No, you only have to play in 1 cup to win a ticket for the finals.
There will be several other leagues running qualifiers, but they will all be running simultaniously between January - March. The 64 tickets will then have been awarded & the final 64 team knockout cup will begining in April/May.

What type of schedule will there be for games? I assume it's a tight time frame? I would love to do it but that's gonna be a very busy time of year for me. Seeing if it's even realistic

Well we've got roughly 3 months to play with so it shouldn't be too intense commitment-wise. Universal standard private league policy is 1 match per week & i wouldn't ask coaches to do any more than that, especially as many of us are (will be) involved in other IPBBL season leagues & cups.
Until we can get a proper head count I can only speculate. In a few weeks time it should be a lot clearer & we can publish the full tourney rules for coaches to read & (if they still like the sound of it) we can create it & start taking applications.
A very rough calc. is that you'd have to play between 6-10 matches over a 12 week period.

Any thoughts on what happens with drop outs? Are we looking at admin wins again? I'm assuming this is progression or is there some way to do resurrection on bb2?
Will teams be reset for the final 64?
Any word on release of more races to coincide with the tournament?

I was just worried about a week commitment where you might be expected to play one or more games a day or all the matches over one day

Any thoughts on what happens with drop outs? Are we looking at admin wins again? With the vast majority (if not all) the qualifiers being conducted in established private leagues & a lot of the participants being experienced members we're hoping to keep a tight a reign as possible on this. Once the official tourney rules, terms & conditions have been posted coaches will be asked to read & agree prior to entering. Rage quits & going AWOL will have repercussions. Also we endevour to have reserve coaches on standby. I'm assuming this is progression or is there some way to do resurrection on bb2? I can't say for sure at this time, as it stands it will have to be progression - but there is a large patch being released around this time next month & enhanced admin & league options have been mentioned. What this includes we don't quite know yet, but something like resurrection would give us some very interesting options. Will teams be reset for the final 64? Yes they will. Any word on release of more races to coincide with the tournament? Not as yet, but they'd be mad not to drop a DLC before Christmas wouldn't they? In the Reddit interview they hinted at Slann & Khemri, but the people choice is Undead.. so who knows? I'll keep you posted.

It looks like private leagues will be allocated 1 ticket per 10 teams applying - atm it looks like we're on 2 tickets but hope to get 3 by January. Therefore both finalists will win a ticket as it stands at the moment & with 11 more teams we will also be able to award a ticket to 1 of the semi finalists also.
