Its playoff time once again! 24 teams entered, but only 8 have advanced to the playoffs, most of them with 4 wins and a draw. Is this the most evenly matched playoff in Bronze Shield history? Or are some of the divisions... more equal than others? We will have a much better idea at the end of the week. Go forth and kill each other!
Orc vs orc, fun matchup right? These teams even have the same jersey colors... an imaginative shade of green .
Stand ya ground will be the heavy TV underdog heading into this match, he might even get a wizard to play with, though it will be a smelly green wizard (the worst kind). The spellcaster is not the sub-person to watch in this contest though, the truly critical player is orc blitzer Morbad. He's played 15 matches and injured 22 players, making him a more prolific killer than Ugrsh himslef! That thing is a single MVP award from superstar status, and Stand Ya Ground's season is far from over.
The Jihad came soooo close to the title last season, and this will likely be their last opportunity to grab the shield. The team's several high agility orc/elf creatures are the only factor that could make this match bearable to watch. Jihad blitzer Sunik Irontusk is the other player to watch in this matchup, with a skill set and statline that would be more at home on an elf team. He should have no problem scoring if he can keep Morbad at arms length.
Green Jihad - Oni_Goku (1st seed) vs. Stand Ya Ground - AndyDavo (8th seed)

IP All Stars - Jounisii (2nd seed) vs. Indominus - Zymotic (7th seed)
The All Stars hope to be the first pro elf team to get their grubby paws on an IP title, and this looks to be as close as any pro team has ever been. After easily clinching the #1 spot in division 1, these tights wearing, hair gelling, side stepping elves might just pull it off.
Indominus had a mostly successful run in Tin last season and are vying to prove they have what it takes to claim a trophy. They have the added edge of being a lizard team in IP, which essentially guarantees you a title if you can maintain a pulse for long enough. The big blue guys seem optimistic about their chances of advancing to next round, how tough could pro elves really be after all?

Improper Dancing - Michaels (3rd seed) vs. Los Luchadores Apestosos - Havol (6th seed)
Somebody needs to explain to us all what Improper Dancing's deal is. Where did they come from? What's their agenda? All I know is I can't see their custom team logo, but I really want to.
Thankfully, Los Luchadores are much easier to figure out. Nurgle is never very hard to predict. These smelly fighters drew with the weirdo lizards 1-1 when they last met, thanks in part to their clawtard pestigor, Brett the Hitman Hart. With so many squishy rookie sauri running around, the game may be Brett's to win or lose.

Platinum Badgers - Knockoff (4th seed) vs. Bouncy Bouncers (5th seed)
Two veteran Bronze Shield teams square off once again in a classic dorf vs. zon matchup. Drozi has been dwelfing up a storm down in division 3, last week he even dodged a lightning bolt on the way to a 3-0 victory. The Bouncers have some stat freaks of their own, with 2 ST4 ladies and an pseudo elf of their own. If the Badgers pull out a win they likely won't let anyone forget for quite some time. If they lose to a zon team, they'll probably just have to retire.
Seeding was done by points, then head to head, then TD differential. PM me if you have any questions
