After my last Open match with my Sinners, I was fortunate enough to earn three skillups. I would have honestly been fine with taking tackle, wrestle, and block. But as nuffle would have it, all three gors rolled dubs. One already has block and one with dodge.
A suggestion was made to ignore the dub on the block and take MB. I have a single MB player which happens to be a claw mino. Not a terrible idea there.
But what do I do with the other skills? I've seen Oni's Nergle who are quite fearsome, but they seem to lack many of the core skills that these type of teams require to be really successful; i.e. block/claw/MB/tackle players. I mean, all the dodge and +ST is great, but really brings the team down a tad, imho.
I'm thinking JU for the rookie to eventually combo with a killer build. Dodge is another option.
For the Dodge player, it was suggested to also forego the dub and take wrestle as his dodge will help him maneuver to his target more easily. Also thinking of JU, DT, and SS.
Any thoughts?
Oh yeah, TV is around 1450 including an MNG CW. a smattering of block on the other players, but nothing crazy. Thinking of entering them into Bronze next season.

I think your Block guy, yeah. Screw the doubles and take your MB.
Rookie, I wouldn't know. I mean, I have trouble choosing which skills to give my guys almost on a regular basis. But I'd say give him one of the double skills, possibly start with Leap. Jumping over your enemies is always fun, y'know?
Finally, your Dodger. I don't know why, but I say give him DC, but only if you want to make him part of the passing game. Heck, even a normal Catch is alright. If passing isn't your thing, then go SS.

I know I might go with Pass on the rookie Beastie since Strong Arm is an easy get and having a passing option on my Chaos teams has never hurt. Extra-Arms on any Beastie makes them catcher material so targets come easy when you have someone that can throw it with reasonable success.
I like your idea of Jump-Up but on your Blocking Beastie, not the rookie, since its a good skill by itself and it starts that player down the "Team Enforcer" rout with MB right around the corner.
Finally on your Dodger, Side-step could be a great combination with one more lvl up he's a Blodging Side-stepper and with a 4th skill he's a Blodging/SS/Guard...that's a terror to other teams...

Ok, I took leap on the rookie. Figured I'll try to feed him some SPP for another 'quick' skillup to LV3 where he can get VLL. A leaping/ horns player would be tough to defend against. Guess I'll keep you guys posted to see how soon he meets his maker Took SS for the dodger. Oz makes some good points and it's a great/annoying skill for defenders. Also, forgot to mention that the Block beast rolled 5+5. So, I can take an extra bit of movement or AV (though this really does not interest me atm).
