Orcs take a close 2-1 win. Spydyr sets up a perfect 1ttd turn 16 but can't make the pickup after spending all his good dice on blocks. Go figure.

It was a fun match that started with a pitch invasion on the opening kick off that took out a lot of players on both sides. It got crazier after that. The skaven started failing rolls a little later and the rolls got worse and worse as the game went on. The orcs couldn't do no wrong and were taking the rats off the pitch left and right. However a few placed fouls did hurt the orcs a little bit and they will be down players for their 2nd match. By turn 16 the only 2 rats on the pitch were the 2 storm vermins. I did have a nice 1 turn TD set up to pull the draw. after some hits and pushes and getting a gutter runner in range and cleared out...all that I needed was a 2+ pick-up, a 2+ pass, a 2+ catch, and then a 2+ GFI. Rolled a 1 on the pick-up...hehehehe A well played match by the orc coach where he won the attrition match.

Hey all! Thermal Riders' Lizards were fighting the church of Punch tonight.
Well, i can tell you that church sure worships well it's god! I never saw that in a game with lizards : at the end of the game, 4 sauri injured, 1 dead. Not a single KO, no...those boys hit to kill. And they only hit the big ones, that's nice of them, as our skinks finished the game with a big fatty grin on their face, with the 3 TD's they managed. I also think these greenskins suffered one of the worst first turns possible : attacking, a lineman attempts a GFI to get in the back of the saurus. 1/reroll/1...wounded! Weird game, first half nuffle really loved me, but I guess he hold me too tight and all my sauri were wounded only in one half! Next game i guess the church will be nice as i gave them a bunch of spp's...
See ya!

Fet*sh Forever Club (Hyeronymus) GMT+1 Vs White Firebirds (Goodpass) gmt+1 played in the Torture Garden Great start for the White Firebirds, rolling 4 red skulls during the first block, Garnog Beragaeil seems the weakest link in the White Firebirds line-up. Nuffle has it ways to deal with former champions. Fet*sh Forever Club exploited that very smoothly, using a classic cage to protect Leopold v Sacher-Masoch the dark elf runner that captured the ball. FFC now tried to exploit the wekest link and tested his armour, Garnog still mourning about that failed block at the start of the match needed medical assistance. All looked at coach Goodpass, he nodded to the APO and his magical sponge did a miracle. So it became FFC dark elf Dyonis that became the first victim. Leopold moved first to the left supported by his teammates and after that to the right, this confused the defence enough to be able to score 1-0. But the half was not over and the violence increased. Severin von Kusiemski got injured and Thargolion Taldilinryl thought this to be the perfect moment to injure another darkie, the ref sent him off instead. Brutality escalates easily during Bloodbowl.
So FFC is two players down at the start of the second half and leading 1-0, if it wasn't for a giant rock that took out Leopold just after the kick off. Those fans show how to pass, even with a rock. The meeting of two dashing teams resulted in a a bashy melee. Coach Goodpass got here the upper hand and could bring numbers to 10 versus 5 for most part of the second half. Now scoring is all his team has to do!!! But his Thrower had serious problems to get the ball moving, coach Goodpass jumped up and down and shouted throw that ball, your teammate Vermaeien Rhuielva is in scoring position. So from turn 12 on it was failed passing and fumbling that stopped the High Elves from scoring. Meanwhile Hyeronymus had to solve the problem of having to few darkies left for powerplay. His raids seemed dangerous from the dug out tough. The High Elves where driven back and now had to cross almost a distance from endzone to endzone. So the match had to be decided in the last minutes. After 15 turns of humiliation with ballhandling the High Elves proved their skill, a pick up a pass another run with a handoff and Vermaeien Rhuielva could score at last 1-1.
What a match. nervebreaking from the start and thrilling till the end. Good to be back in the Iron Phoenix League. Hyeronymus thanks for the match. Goodpass

The account of the match could not be more accurate! Nothing to add except that Fet*sh Forever Club is aptly named - definitely a Masochist team...! With already a Broken Ribs (for Sacher-Masoch himself), a Damaged Back and a Fractured Skull, all these guys do desire to suffer the most possible - and I'm afraid they will ;-/...!

We had a long opening week (11th - 23rd Feb ) for everyone to get settled in. I was pretty sure we'd roll early but 1 guys gone awol already & another is having technical issues, so it looks like at least 2 divisions will have to wait until the full week deadline (midnight tuesday). However i should be in a position to give the other 4 divisions an earlier start to week 2 & open the threads this weekend - stay tuned!

Church of Punch (Mercy Flush) GMT Vs White Firebirds (Goodpass) gmt+1 A tactical excercise for the Orcs, they closed the ranks and punched those high elves down, so a nice 0-0 and a nenurical advantage at the start of the second half of 11 versus 9. Now it was time for the cagewalk, and even tough those Elvestried to penetrate it, their efforts seemed pathetic. The numbers made the odds where better and better for the Orcs. Now it was important to keep cool and stall as a real professional, those Elves even started to foul out of frustration. This could not prevent the victory of 1-0 for the Orcs. Mercy Flush congratulations with this win, earned by keeping the formation intact all the time, well done. Goodpass

Thermal Riders (Ozone) Vs Math Geniuses Reborn (Illusion)
Game started with a nice rock for both teams...only a skink was stunned, and a gutter was injured! Nice.. This first half was Under pouring rain, and the rat thrower wasn't in a good mood to pick up the ball. He managed eventually, and the rat team was so p***** off that they started to hit the sauri like hell. But hey, we sauri, we strong, we no need armor boss!! Those dumb lizards were cleared out of the way (3 sauri KO'd in 3 turns). Just like the game before. So first half ended up with a TD for the rats. During break, though, the coach's personal gnoblar sneaked into the room and hit on the head of the sauri with their armors. Second half was much better for the liz's, starting with an attack and a quick TD on turn 11 (or is it 12?) Then the liz got really Lucky as they could re-arrange their defense, and as they had started to clear off those damn rats from the pitch, it made things easier. Though one damn lineman attempted a desperate move and almost made it to the TD line! He was caught back by a saurus, and the ball was thrown back in the field by the fans. It was still far away from the rats TD line, though, but as they were clearly outnumbered, it mad it possible for a sneaky slippery skink to score on turn 16! So that's a short win for the lizards, which can say nuffle was on their side on second half, for sure. See you on next game, all.

Match 2 for Pay Per Summons Today we got a rowdy one as Pay Per Summons squeek out a 2-1 victory against Art of Pour. This grueling match lasted all the way to the end so be sure your seat is in it's upright position until the end. youtu.be/XMtjTxhBKhAThreeofClubs made this one of my most exciting matches ever! Thanks for the game!

Group E Match Day 2
Soup vs Fet*sh Forever Club 1-0
Allegedly the dark elves poisoned the dwarf ale before the game but due to a mix-up, instead of using the assassin's deadly poison the beer was spiked with Slaaneshi love potion. The dwarfs proceeded to give the elves over sixty friendly love taps - a time-honoured dwarven mating ritual - knocking them on their back but causing no significant injury (aside from a few stuns).
Unfortunately for the elves, they couldn't take advantage of this. Having never experienced unbridled dwarven lust first-hand, they felt fear they had never before been afflicted by and couldn't even successfully dodge away from the crazed stunties in heat. The team's one remaining Troll Slayer, somewhat resilient to the effects of the potion, kept hold of his senses enough to shove enough opposing players off of the pitch and away from his infatuated brethren to be able to push the ball through for a single touchdown; but not without a cost.
While trying to greedily dry-hump two downed dark elves, one of the dwarfs was literally caught with his pants down as one of said elves plunged a concealed dagger into his spinal cord resulting in the third fatality for the dwarf team's short time in the league.
Farce of a game. Dwarfs that couldn't bash and elves that couldn't dodge. The elves actually ended with more armour breaks than the dwarfs (not counting crowd surfs) and I'm pretty sure the elves failed more dodges than they succeeded. 10/10 would play again.
