Gentlemen,
I'm sure that I'm not the only one that has been seeing smaller numbers of players in our BB1 leagues as of late. Chances are, you've seen our numbers dwindle and some of our cups/ side competitions dry up and go the way of the dodo...
It's our collective intent to continue to run competitive, fun BB1 leagues until such a time as Cyanide kills the BB1 servers and we're forced into BB2. It was always our hope that we could run four 'main' leagues with Immortal becoming the ultimate proving ground for you and your teams. it was there that you'd find the best killers and dancers. There you'd see fully developed teams and have an even shot at beating them with your TV 2000+ team. Sadly, we never recruited the numbers we hoped for.
As of today, Immortal league will live no more. We have agreed to implement TV changes to Iron, Bronze, and Tin.
Iron League will still be the 'big boy' league where you can find the best developed of the IP teams bashing it out for the Iron Crown. TV will be from TV1750+
The Bronze League (some might say this is our most popular) will continue to be the middle ground for your teams. You will still battle it out for the Bronze Shield, but with a starting Team Value between TV 1000 - TV 1740.
Tin League will be for new teams and stunty teams with less than three seasons and a TV lower than TV 1000. The Tin Cup is for those that are still in the very early stages of development and not yet ready for the killers that await in the upper tiers
These changes will be implemented after the three main leagues wrap up and crown their champions, so you can expect a bit of a lag as I wait for all three to conclude. In the meantime, I will host two tournaments. Please reference (here) for details.
It's been a pleasure hosting you coaches and providing a fun, competitive environment to play. I am committed to the continued success of the Iron Phoenix until Cyanide forces me to buy another computer that will run BB2
If you have any feedback you would like me to consider before the coming season, please feel free to reply to my post and we can all hear what you have to say. Thank you.
