I'm thinking to make it a 12-team tourny where all meet all? What say you guys? Any thoughts on what would be best? I'm asuming that one can still change the rules/settings for the league even after it is made? You guys who have made leagues before can maybe give me som tips...

yes you can change team amount and setting just as long as you dont click start season and we need to see what teams are allowed as i see 1 player wants to play a khemri team

khemrians and undead I seem to recal are banished due to the fact most of the team players have regeneration wich is against the spirit of the cripple cup

Yes, I agree too much regen would make a team overpowered.

2 questions for you all before the cup starts. Wizard inducement: Shall we allow recharge or not? Max.players: Shall we keep the maximum amount of players for the different races or shall we let that be free? More players = more TV = more inducements for the opponent. Or is that unfair to the stunty teams maybe?
Give me your thoughts about this pls.

as for the wizard the use only really hurts khemri and maybe dwarf but as they are not in it i say why not... i dont mind
stunty teams are better off with bigger TV gap between teams... i for 1 think should have all teams free but in saying that i also feel it may give DE and high elf teams a big advantage so i dont mind what way we go

So just confirming - if we're awarded a re-roll because of a kick-off event, are we allowed to use it?

Yes comforteagle. Rerolls from kick off-events are the only rerolls you are allowed to use.

Yes, with inducements you can hire star-players or mercs for a match.

Existing Teams for another season No player may be fired from the team, no matter how rubbish they have become. The ONLY way out is DEATH. New players may be hired (pre-season only) as long as the number of players does not exceed the following race limits: High Elf, Dark Elf - 12 players max Pro Elf, Wood Elf, Norse, Human, Khorne, Amazon - 13 players max Skaven, Nurgle - 14 players max Underworld, Vampire - 15 Players Max All Others - 16 players i am not sold on this for 1 this rule was introduced because NEW teams were playing in same league as experienced teams, This is NOT the case here WE vs norse have same amount of players, same AV but are they even when 1 team has all block and the other has none? furthermore the norse can get str level ups on normal rolls and WE cant (MB and pile on) one norse level up they can get tackle and its over for WE and underworld should have 16 hell i think they all should have the option and why the hell DE and high elf can only have 12. norse at higher level will destroy them and have more players to do it the lack of inducement also hurts some teams more than others as it is if you have 90 000 cash you cant get a thing (or can we get babes? not sure) yeah i got smashed by ark, 5 out in first 5 turns 3 in first turn game was over turn 6 and had i been smart knowing i was in the finals i should have just been a no show and given win to him as it stand now an easy loss for me in playoff and nothing in inducement worth getting to even it up also the fact we cant fire crippled players at end of season is a bit much (replacing players would also use up cash and not add to player limits) oh and said new players are still just that new and have no skills but i can and do live with this rule (Can some 1 please kill my WD i have had her there to be killed for ages)

We can have a discussion about the max number of players, of course. But the whole point of (and partly the fun also) The Crippled Cup is that you can't fire your crippled players.. hence the name.

Yes, it can of course happend that a team becomes SO crippled that the coach decides to delete it all together. The option then is to make a new team and join it to Stretcher League.. to work it's way up through the league again.
But I think it is admirable to continue playing a team EVEN when they are crippled, since..as I said: It's the whole point of the league.

I would keep the rules. I think 12 Players on elves is fine as they seem to be the only non stuntie with lots of Blodge on the Rooster. And it seems to me that most of our Teams (well apart from Clementus Norse :-) ) are not high on tackle. The other Thing ist, that in my oppinion having to Keep Players is one of the core principles of the cripple Cup. I think we rules work fine and we should Keep it .
