Its playoff time. Congratulations are in order to those that survived the regular season and made it into the playoff rounds. This will be a 2-round single elimination playoff event. The last team standing will be crowned the final and everlasting Tin & Bones Champion and will receive the last ever Tin & Bones Cup. Now, without further ado, on to the matchups.
Frenzied Frenzers vs The Amazin Vanishin Team
Wenteros vs Gorgrael
The Frenzied Frenzers are a Khorne dameons team straight from hell... ahem... the chaos realm. In true immortal daemon fashion they dominated the Tin & Bones league. They won the first four of their five regular season matchups without breaking a sweat. Just a truly remarkable team in all facets of gameplay. On the last week of play they came up against Coach romfantaz and his elves who finally gave the frenzied cultists a challenge. This match resulted in a draw which finished the Frenzers in first place in the league with an impressive 4 wins, 0 loss, 1 draw record. That last match of the season also resulted in some damage to the cultists with one pit fighter dying during the match and another being injured and out for the next game. So despite their spectacular regular season record, that last game could have the extra result of weakening them enough to lose in this first round of the playoffs. The Amazing Vanishin Team of wood elfs on the other hand just squeaked by into the playoffs, being the lowest team on the rankings accepted. They have suffered greatly due to injuries during the regular season and will only be able to field 7 or possibly 8 rostered players during this match. Apparently they arn't as amazin at vanishin as they'd like to believe. However, the rostered players that have survived intact to this stage have grown in experience tremedously. Three of their players have reached agility 5 on the classic blood bowl agility scale developed by the original NAF to rate how agile players are for the oddsmakers. Very few players reach agility 5 and a team with three of them will be near impossible to stop from scoring on offense.
Match Prediction: 4 - 2 The Amazin Vanishin Team
Match Outcome: 2 - 1 Frenzied Frenzers
Amazing Animals Circus vs Lykanz Tryouts
romfantaz vs. Weresquid
This match is between the teams ranked 2nd and 3rd during the regular season. First up, finishing the regular season in 2nd place is the Amazing Animal Circus elf team. They had a record of 3 wins 0 losses and 2 draws, finishing just behind the first place khorne team and were also the only team not beaten by the khorne team making them a favorite in this playoffs. Their team has taken a bit of damage but no more than their opponent or any other team in this playoffs. Their opponent are the third seed necromantic team, Lykanz Tryouts. The Lykanz were 2 - 2 - 1 in the regular season. Their only loss was to the first place team. When these two teams faced off during the regular season the result was a draw and they still look pretty evenly matched today with the oddsmakers giving the elfs the edge.
Match Prediction: 2 - 1 Amazing Animals Circus
Match Outcome: 4 - 3 Amazing Animals Circus
