Only the biggest, baddest (and elfy-est) remain...
rtsd 's Equinox Arcana (undead - 1800tv) vs. nails ' Naillers (dwarf - ~2170tv)
Two titans clash in this penultimate battle for the gold crown, and it does not get more epic than this! Both experienced coaches, with incredible teams, and a dream run so far this season; but only one will be left standing to progress. Dwarvish constitution has held true, and they come into this as healthy as ever (with two unallocated skill ups to boot), with all their tools (giant ride on lawn mower included) primed and ready to wreck some undead face. In the other corner, one of RTSD's mummies is sleeping off a rough encounter with a chainsaw from his quarterfinal against Devifish's Squibblies. A whole lot of inducement money will at least try to fill that mummy-shaped void in RTSD's roster, but this IS the most unfortunate time to be without one of the bulwarks of the side. This one's too close to call... and may even spill over into extra extra time, in which case it could be anyone's game.
havol 's Country Clubbers (high elf - 1580 tv) vs. blocki's Rotten Blockers (nurgle - 2130tv)
The Country Clubbers pulled off some old time elf magic in their quarterfinal appearance, and looked literally untouchable. They come into this game as the somewhat charmed but certainly relatively underdeveloped underdogs. But if nuffle smiles again (and not the scary wicked imma-gonna-mess-you-up smile that he sometimes has) and the Clubbers can roll higher than 1, these fancy elves may just fancy themselves a shot at the shiny title. Blocki's squad have just come off a spot of recreation rat hunting, and are all sporting new slightly ragged fur scarves! They were successful at pummelling down last week's dashers, and hope to make it a repeat performance. Spreading their disturbing presence around the arena may hamper any passing plays that the elves are known to rely on, and good ol' Tyra is back in play this game. He only needs 22 spp to progress into legend status, and the Clubbers will have just enough bodies on the pitch to allow this, in the somewhat likely chance that this murderous pestigor will kill every single elf who steps on the pitch...
Good luck - have fun!
