one thing that I found helped with bb rage in general is coaching gobbos for a season or two. Learn how to take the game less seriously; lose well, be competitive when playing from behind, laugh at yourself, and play for fun! (and yes, I'm basically doing anything I can to convince coaches to field gobbo teams in IP). Lil greenskins forever!! and lets not forget halflings, those crazy little fat bastards can fly, but if they dont stick the landing you get to see what that had for lunch all can say is what all the posts before me have so i dont need to, and even then it wont help all the time I had (yes here it comes again) a bad run of late, I have found for me it comes in waves of 10 hell games then 10 i can do nothing wrong games and them normal games so when getting a bad run dont do what i did lately and list it all on paper, (the pan was i would see lots of bad and feel it would soon come to an end) it now ended up reminding me i had 19 die in 23 games and in the 23 games had 87 of 368 turn end with a turnover on the first roll i did that action, I had 25 Blitz kick offs against me and other team also got 14 perfect defense My breaking point came when i played goodpass in the immortal league after he got 2 blitz kick offs that he scored on i tempted fate and said "if you kick off and get another blitz i will quit blood bowl till blood bowl 2 is out)... and yes he got that 3rd blitz... i think i was down 4-0 at half time, I could not quit as i had used my 1 and only quit on Hudd a game before, i quit not angry but to save my team he has killed 2 or 3 of my players (high level ones think one was level 6) Goodpass was a champ and did all to lift my spirits but didt go easy rest the game (glad he didnt) and went on to win 7-0 (i have also won games 7-0 and 1 game 8-0 so I know both ends the stick)next few days was very had to play and i wanted to keep my word (pride thing crap) glad i didnt. now i and out that evil slump and back on the normal run with the odd good one but no hell ones... and poor gorbag then got me sadly after i was out of the slump and from turn 11 to 14 i think i killed 3 of his players and he left, i dont blame him and feel his pain, we all get to be on the bad end at some point... some like dragonvisper and gorbag get it more than others i think dont get to attached to 1 player a good team is one that can win without the star there, stars get targeted, they come and go, nothing you can do about that, but you decide if your team go not dice... dont let nuffle take your team as well as the players. EDIT: I have now burnt that bit of paper

well il better answar in here to, because after a month or two in here, i was rage quetting, the leauge, i had a pro elf team destryed in riverdell and i reall mean destryed, in 5 games i had no td, no cas and only 6 players left and out of those 6, 4 of them was linemen, my other leauges went as hell to, partly because i do makes mistakes, and is a bit agresive player for my ovn best... but here comes the big butt...
the ip players and adminds wouldt not let me go;) they decided to let me admin lose the last games in the leauge and so i wouldt have to play the games they know wouldt be fun for me and all understod me perfektly, so they supported me in the other leauges and told me Things would turn around, and they coathed me to better handle the loses, humiliatin and hvat ever nuffels did throw after me...
so im still here, i lost 3 pro elf teams in open, but because of the increadibel players and admins here in ip i have a killer team of proelfs and i can actely play them rather decently...
so the best answar i can give you if you ever takes a nuffels beating, and lose a importen player, just think for yure self whit a smile( at least im not dragonvisper, nuffels champion) and talk whit the others and lsiten to all the good advise given on this forum, that is what keeps me going, not evry match is fun, but those that Work are then ekstra fun...7
Nuffels champion over and out;)

Just got finished rebuilding two of my teams . . . and was wondering, what teams are the hardest to get going?Any team that lacks immediate skills, quick scoring ability, cheap enoguh players to build to 12-13 quickly, or all of the above! Examples include chaos...complete lack of starting skills, no AG4, and even with 11 players you cannot afford decent rr AND an apoc, so you run the risk of an early death/injury. Or perhaps, and this is only my opinion, I've seen many people prove me wrong, dark elves. fastish, agile, enough block to hold their own...but fragile AV, especially on the pricy players, and it's nigh on impossible to even get 2 rr and a decent starting squad.

I need to say, something I am sure will not be accepted by all ...
I really, really don't like some of these people whom preach to you about all the glory of "No Block". I have never had such a terrible week in this game. In fact it was so bad I have pretty much re-created all my teams in private leagues like the Phoenix Open. Yeah, I know I am not suppose to allow people on the internet to get to me or saying something to get under my skin. I understand, that... What I don't understand is how is it things like "No Block" even started? What was happening on-line in this game to even make it the way it is now? I was refused at least four different games this week. On my human team the guy even cursed me out because I had players with the block skill. I mean isn't the whole purpose of this game to level up your players and team and build them into a powerhouse? Isn't that what we are all doing in the game? Learning to over come differences as well as set backs. Learning ways to be successful in a game and system in which luck is clearly involved sometimes. I mean forgive me ... but, why in the hell would I not buy block for any linemen on any team. How is it I become some type of bad guy because I bought block for a tomb guardian? Do I play dwarfs? Yes, I do. Do I like Amazon or Norse teams? Not really... What I can tell you is I do like this league, just the way it is. Full of challenges, chooses, options, and variety. It's cool to play Comfort and his goblins on week one, and then have to deal with Michael's undead team the next week. Thank You all for taking me in again.
FYI/PS: Right now, I am not totally sure whether or not I am still mad/upset over the happenings of this past week. All I know is what I feel and right about now I am like Fuck "No Block".

FYI/PS: Right now, I am not totally sure whether or not I am still mad/upset over the happenings of this past week. All I know is what I feel and right about now I am like Fuck " No Block". It's there for people to enjoy for what it is. Some people want to play BB in a similar way to american football, where it's all about positioning, movement and timing. For them, they may find the idea of playing a wood elf team in no block heaven. Others would find this anathema, and that's cool, the great thing is there's a league for everyone. Others may think the idea of a brutal, violent league with no apocetharies, rerolls or safety is the way they wanna get their BB fix (Hi Ren!) and that's equally cool, whereas others would find the idea of their stars being beaten up with no recourse to a medic blasphemy. Again, thats their opinion, which they are entitled to. If you don't like no block, and I have to say, neither do I, then just don't play there I like my blood bowl with added blood, but that's just me.

Yeah, I find it comical. When I was playing legendary edition before my 3 year break, I never saw anything like that... no block, no bash, no whatever race. After I came back and started playing chaos edition, I saw all kinds of that stuff. It's BLOOD BOWL for Nuffle's sake.

Makes my stunties sleep better at night.

Of course no one can scold you for taking Block-skill for your players. But I very much see the charm of having leagues with different limitations. I am one of those who get kindof bored when playing vs. dwarf teams, or against constant cage-bashing. Which there is of course plenty of, since the game is very much designed that way unless you want to play a little risky.
So for me the leagues with different limitiations is sometimes a breath of fresh air. And I play them also to get myself out of the usual routine I easily fall into. In leagues like No Block or ORKS (One Real Kill Skill) I am forced to choose different and often new skills for my players, instead of the usual block, dodge, tackle, MB that I tend to pick normally. Thanks to those leagues I discovered the fun of Pass Block and Diving Tackle-skills for example.
But no. No one can give you crap for choosing powerhouse skills, that is the norm of course. (With that said ... I still hate dwarf teams )

If you really need to spin in Auld, just leave that little speech bubble alone. As most of the time its not worth it. And if you do get shit from a coach just blacklist them, and make sure you dont spin when they are available. Ive played 600ish games and have 2 coaches blacklisted
