With the play offs looming the last two matches of the group stages will be crucial in deciding who makes it through. The top 4 from each group will make it to the play off stages and the chance to be crowned champion.
There will also be a losers competition in the form of the Balsawood Spoon for all the teams that didn't manage to rise to the top.
Second place Legend of the Necrodancer host 3rd place Gilgameshi Gobbos. Both teams are looking for a win to secure their play off place, a no score draw will only help the teams snapping at their heels. The Underworld side have only one player missing for this match while the Undead side have a side at full strength.
One thing is for sure inducements will not be making any difference this match.
You guys know the drill with uploading by now. Please post your availability by friday 24th October and all matches to be played by 23:59 (GMT) on Wednesday 29th of October.
Good luck guys

Should be easy to catch a game on saturday or sunday. I'm in the same time zone and I'll probably be working behind my pc for most of those days.

The game has ended in 2-0 for legend of the necrodancer.
It was a game far closer than the score indicates.
Although a couple of lucky early fouls took out RTSD's troll (KO) and 4str blitzer (BH), RTSD played a patient careful defense, a nice fabian strategy. Hard to break through. I was only just able to score on turn 8.
Since the troll never deigned to get up again, it become easier as the game was going on, but not until RTSD made a stunning passing play to a goblin standing over the touchdown line... only to fail to catch it.
That was enough time to sack the goblin, take the ball and run it over the touchdown line with a ghoul on turn 16.

Also interesting: a few pre-game purchases meant our team values were identical.

And finally, the dice favored me on average, but especially when a roll was important, it always seemed to go my way.

Sounds like a fun match. RTSD is still in a play off position at the moment, it all depends on the other match results this week. Validated
