Babes N Blades v Northern Pain So, I think I meant to say that I'd win by a score of 3-1 instead of 12-0... Good game to the Northern Pain, but they just didn't get enough casualties early in our match wich allowed my elves to dance about the pitch. Good luck, Deano.

Good game to the Northern Pain, but they just didn't get enough casualties early in our match wich allowed my elves to dance about the pitch. Good luck, Deano. Yep this match was played under trying circumstances for both coaches. Hav was drunk and I was tired playing it at the end of a 20 hour shift at 7am. It seems that when it comes to drunk vs tired, drunk is a far better state to be in.... but then I guess that isn't really news to anyone! Hav deserved the win, though there was a chance to snatch a 2-2 draw had I managed to pick the ball up near to Hav's endzone after I had tackled his BC deep and isolated in his own half. However the attempt failed and the ball was knocked out of play. Hav rushed down the pitch to make it 3-1. I hope you enjoyed your celebration beer buddy! GL for the rest of Iron!

Severe Drowsiness v The Maniac Medics Prediction: 2-1 for the Drow. Yes they'll win, but at a cost. Dr. Lecter will make them pay! Wow! Seems like I got this prediction correct! Woot! Everything was going bashy for the Medics until a 'lucky' dodge into a cage and -2D block to the BC. That and the ensuing throw- in turned everything around. Byt hat point, the Medics didn't have enough speed to race down field and secure the ball... securely. Good win, Longstreet. Hopefully you'll learn that elves, especially those with multiple AG5 bastards roaming the pitch can overcome injury to win vs anyone. Well played Match validated.

The Maniac Medics v Severe Drowsiness
Dr. Lecter certainly did make the Drow pay, with the Medics inflicting casualty after casualty - with THREE Drow in the cas box before turn THREE. It was looking very ugly and despite skillful Drow play ekeing out a TD early in the first half, the Medics kept racking up the casualties, putting four Drow in the cas box, another 4 in the KO box, and tying the game by the half. The Drow coach was NOT feeling optimistic by that point.
The second half began with some good luck with the Drow, with all their KOs recovering but starting out with only nine players vs. the full Medic lineup. The Medics continued their rampage, putting another two Drow in the cas box, two more in the KO box, taking the Drow on the field down to FIVE, and were within range of the Drow end zone by midway through the half. The Drow had managed to put a Chaos Warrior in the cas box, but it was looking very much like a Medic win about to happen. Desperate, the Drow sent a brave lineman into a thicket of Medics and he managed to get through to the Medic ball carrier, who was pushed into the stands, with the rowdy fans (possibly in sympathy with the Drow situation) throwing the ball back in near a prone Drow assassin. The assassin managed to get to the ball and throw it deep into the Medic half of the field. The subsequent race to the ball was won by the slightly faster Drow, who managed to grab it and get to the end zone at turn 15. A Medic attempt at a one-turn score on turn 16 failed when the Medic minotaur was distracted by a red cape being waved at him by a Drow fan on the sidelines.
A tough match that could have easily gone the other way. 2-1 Severe Drowsiness.
GG, Havol. I hope my team never meets yours again; it might not survive.
