Worri Yallock Miners (Coach Jester)vs The Brain Pain (proxy team)
After last weeks loss questions are being asked of the miners, like why did the runner wait on the goal line and not score only to be hit by the orc blitzer near half time? was he bribed? was it a protest for not getting paid? and if you look ar the replay you could clearly see Dirty bas'tard on the field after half time just chasing the ref, yes he should not have been on as he was the 12th player on the field, but it seemed to get past the refs attention... Dirty got on but why? and how? did they bribe the ref? yet it asks even more questions, ok so he got on, but to then just chase the ref and not go hit some one or get the ball? and this week they face the Brain pain... or would have but the teem is missing and looks to not even show, where are they? all we know is its been a crazy season
Gruumash's Glaives (Coach Insidious)vs Border Crosses (Coach HAVOL)
match of the week and its an all time classic, just like in the old days of blood bowl... Human vs Orc... versatility vs strength
Havol and his side are unbeaten and have risen to be favorite to take the title. The glaives have shown a never say die attitude all season and an ability to hit and hit hard, this is any ones game both with deep rosters and lots of talent at the skilled positions. but its in the linemen that i see the difference, these unsung heroes do their job day in day out while the throwers and catchers get all the glory, today i got to sit down with veteran lineman of BC Ridoa..
"tell me Ridoa, will you ever get to touch the ball?"
"you never know, but thats not my job, I am out there to protect my team mates, set screens and stomp some heads from time to time, when i was in the minors i was a blitzer but wanted to be a thrower, but we have some great talent at both positions here at BC. Coach Havol drafted me and said he would find a way to get me on the field so i could use what i have and show the world, and he has... i am just happy to be out there, its a great team but its one game at a time... Go BC."
2-1 to BC
Falcon Firebirds (Coach Goodpass)vs Handcuffed To Dwarfs (Coach Deano)
the firebirds seem relaxed as they aim for a three-pete but standing in their way is one of the best Khemri sides to grace the astro granite since the Anubi serpants, what i would give to see those to at it in a final and maybe we will next season but for now lets look at the key match ups or miss matches. At first glance you would think it needs to be won in the trenches but the it will be the speed that kills and the firebirds have too much of it. Sure H to D have mastered the tackles but their TG's once engaged forget about the game and just hit the guy they are locked up with.. this will lead to many one on ones all over the rest of the field, and thats where the firebirds shine... 2-0 maybe 3-1 to the firebirds but we can all hope the H to D bash the smug smiles of some of those cocky elves
The Borf (Coach Mr Manco)vs Gorland Skulls (Coach Gorbag)
Last week the Borf held the champs to a 1-1 draw in what was a replay of the finals last season but at a cost Pew Pew the all star chaos warrior is out for this game and i think it will prove costly, the team looks tired too, and coach gorbag is out to prove to the other teams he and his team are one of the immortal greats, the team has the fewest TD's and scored nothing in the last 2 games, but that wont stop them for the teams goal all season has been to beat least seasons champs who they play next week and last seasons runner up, and with stig and his team missing thats 3 wins they could have and may even sneak into a final spot, this is my upset pick 2-1 or even 2-0 to the skulls
