Gorbag1 - Gorland Skulls vs Jounisii- Sour Saurii
Last week Coach Gorbag's mind was else where, his players confused, orcs left their troll Edfart alone and with no one around to tell the troll what to do he stood their at the crucial moment not making the the block needed. Dont expect Gorabg to make the same mistake again... (I did say he would be the players to watch) Coach Jounisii did no better and opted not to use Morg and when with Slibli who proved infective and as for Skink Intence Iguana, the player I said to watch, well he had his own brain fade and rather than run it in ran along the goal line only to fall over 1 pace out. What was he thinking? questions will be asked of match fixing, at any rate both lost and this week are both looking to bounce back. Sour Saurii are down a saurus and a star skink but will be give money again this week as they have the crystal ball viewing rights. Morg has already stated he wont play for them this week. So look to see Jounisii hire a wizard or bribe a ref, he will want to use his movement to out pace the skulls, Gorbag will look to keep the play tight and close in the trenches, his skilled tacklers with need to play closer to the ball and tighten the zones
Prediction: 1-1 our first draw but if the coach that gets his game plan going will likely be the one to win 2-1
Player to watch: look for Skink Intence Iguana again to get the job done but this time no brain fade.
Hudd - White- Handz vs Goodpass - Falcon Firebirds
Game of the week Is it too soon to be giving Coach Goodpass the nick name GOD pass? last weeks game plan and execution of the plan was perfect, and it showed in the scores and he and his team sit alone at the top. Coach Hudd is hungry and out to prove that the firebirds can again be beaten just like the Anubis Serpents did at the start of season 2. You know what Hudd has the team to do it, last week he showed he can bash with the heavy hitters, this week its another story. Is this team one dimensional? or can they mix it with teams that avoid hits rather than look for them
Prediction: It would be silly to even think of tipping against the Firebirds, so I wont, Godly goodpass to stay undefeated winning 3-2
Player to watch: Gluva thrower for the Handz, in 2 games he already has 3 TD's and is looking to set a single season rushing record
Insidious - Grummsh's Glaives vs Coach Jester - Night Hawks
The worst team in immortal are the night hawks, they claim to be slow starters but already promise the fans they will be there at the end and make the finals, 2 games though and 2 losses, they have yet to even score. But the coach seems optimistic about this week, at the mid week press conference he said 'I have a great respect for the Glaives their coach and not only the way they play the game but the style that they play it in, they play more like us and are free flowing, they use misdirection and trap blocking, we could see lots of scores' he did not say by whom though, but when asked all he did was smile.
Coach Insidious got a wonderful win last week, some though say it was luck, others mistakes for the other coach, what ever the case it took great coaching to take advantage of the fortunes and get the win, he was calm and cool under pressure, he should not be underestimated.
Prediction: I think the Glaives are the favorites for this game but i will bet against them as I find it hard to see the hawks go 0 and 3 for the season, they need the win and will do whatever it takes so 2-1 to the hawks
Player to watch: Mike Quick for the hawks is back and will likely get 1 if not both scores
