So the BB2 Silver League Crimson Crosses had a good game and got a few lvl's out of it.
3/4 completion of the '"proto-typical" Hunter/Killer Blitzer. *Blk / Jump-up / MB / *New Skill: PO (just waiting for Tackle to be 100%...if he lives that long)
1/4 Starting Mr. H/Ks Protégé with a dub 4 + 4 roll for his 1st skill-up *Blk / *New Skill: Jump-up
But now the question at hand... I have my "Safety" Thrower with his 3rd lvl and I'm torn between; Strip Ball or Tackle? 2/4 completed soon to be 3/4 "Safety" Thrower *Pass / Sure-hands / Wrestle / Dodge / *New Skill: (Strip Ball or Tackle?)
My thoughts for each is; Strip Ball may be less versatile but more effective when it's good...
or
Tackle is more versatile if I don't take the Ball carrier down with the block and he has to dodge away...
What's the better option for the guy that rarely gets past the line of scrimmage on defense?

tackle. you've already said it yourself: it's the more versatile skill.
You're a veteran Human coach, you know how valuable versatility is for them to be successful.

Ended up going 'Kick' since I don't have a kicker and I like my linemen on the line...
