Hello and welcome BB2 coaches! Silver Cup is back with ye olde Hdawg at the helm again, but with some shiny new rules!
In case you're new, didn't play last season, or just plain forgot, here are the new guidelines!
TV limit is 1550. Remember that you can have up to 150k cash before it starts counting towards your TV so bank up those $'s! Remember to check if you have a player MNG or injured as the system wont count it towards your total, but we sure will!
Teams not arriving from Copper will be scrutinised by myself/other admins and if we feel it necessary will need to play x3 matches in Phoenix Open before qualifying for Silver.
Here's hoping we see plenty of our copper cup coaches moving on up as well as some new faces. We'll be keeping the Cups at a max of 12 players per tournament, and once we're full we'll begin filling a 2nd Silver Cup group to form a group B. Hopefully this will result in faster/smoother seasons and coaches who don't make it in won't have to wait as long to get in on the next one. Sign up by providing your team name, race, and TV level. When you apply for the silver league name one of your players as your team captain and IF YOU WANT add a short bit of fluff about the team (just a line or two is fine) who they are or what they are about, or how they went in other leagues, even a memorable game. Please note this last bit about the fluff or history of your team isn't mandatory it's simply encouraged and by NOT filling it out you give me carte blanche to make stuff up about your team/players/coaching habits. If you post stuff about who they are etc I'll obviously do my best to stay true to your vision of your glorious little pixels
Teams/Coaches are permitted one concession per season. You should concede prior to a game if at all possible, but you may also concede mid-game if you're getting hammered to dust. Short of emergencies these should be the only reasons to need to use a concede. Though, that said, we the other coaches reserve the right to ruthlessly mock you for not going the distance and wussing out like an elf. That's right, I went there...
Players who concede more than one game or who consistently can't make their weekly commitments due to lack of availability will be asked to sit out a season or until they can start participating / not surrender-monkeying. That is all!
Lastly, if you're signing up please remember the following:
-you are committing to playing the full season out, not however much suits you.
-you should be posting your FULL availability to your match day partner on the forums within 48 hours of the weekly pairings being posted up.
-you are to provide your times in GMT for ease of arranging times.
-you should be posting if you're going to be away for the majority of a week due to vacation/work in order to increase chances that the match can be played.
-you can arrange matches via steam if you like, but when there are issues or discrepancies admins will always refer to what was posted on the Forums. You might be in the 'right' and your opponent might be in the 'wrong' but if we can't see it on the forums and no one contacts us by the end of the week we will rule according to who posted what and when.
