Group 1:
DG Chaos Cowboys v Wrath of Gob
dimmy v parrigan
The team is coming along nicely for Dimmy. Block on the warriors is always a great start. It's also been a bit of a mixed bag for the Chaos boys. A win, loss, and draw to open the season. In store this week? Yep, some sneaky-git gobbos. Fresh off an upset last match, to boot. My only question is this: Will Parrigan hire the apoth to try and preserve his AG4 pogo, or will he take the inducements and grab a bribe for his dirty weapons?
I Kunt v Half Baked Orcs
Manco v waaarghh
The Kunters had a great show last MD. With two level-ups pending AND enough $$ in the bank to get a bench, replace the broken positionals, OR nab that 3rd RR, Coach Manco has some serious decisions ahead. The half-baked opposition has some good skills, however. Granted, they'll be missing a blitzer, but the guard Blorc will go a long way to ensure they won't get bullied by some short-legged squats.
Despite all my rage, I am v Tegridy Farms Inc.
comfort_eagle v gorbag2
3 matches and no TD's for the Rat Ogre BC experiment. For shame, Comfort. And I'm suuure that the AG5 GR will certainly make it easier to use the rest of the team to do stuff on the pitch Btw, I hear that Tegridy Farms grow some goood shit. What do you say Coach Gorbag? I don't know if I ever remember you coaching a team that wasn't from the fabled land of Gorland
Bay City Buccaneers v Bohemond's Ballers
Oni Goku v Sindain
Yep, so much for continuing to rock the single RR. Coach Oni chose the 2nd RR over the apothecary or even the 4th blitzer. Makes sense. The +MA on the runner will also go a loong way to speeding up the team. The Ballers will look to rebound from a tough loss to some sneaky gobbos. With some good skills and a modest bench, they won't go down easy.
Group 2:
Orc's Land Raydors v A Bird in the Hand
seriously v me
Who's ready for a free win? Looks like it's your turn this week, Seriously. It'll be easy, trust me.
Me Orc, You Orc, We Orc v Bone Thugs N Anarchy
tencoin v DocOz3000
It's about this time in the schedule that Coach Tencoin will really miss the MNG Blitzer and BLorc. He'll miss that muscle. Maybe Nuffle will smile with some kind dice? HA! Nuffle only smiles on the wicked, doesn't he, Doc? Nice team, btw. They're developing nicely and you'll be a pain in the butt for everyone until we can get that decay to make a difference.
The Rotrage Festerfiends v It Ain't Ogre till it's Ogre
asphyxious v ravers
Speaking of teams developing nicely, Coach Asphyxious has a deep bench and a few skills. The other thing he has is a good understanding that gaining SPP at this point is more important than wins for baby Nergle teams. Coach Ravers had better hope that Nuffle has averted is gaze to another team, because if he rolls 7 1's in a row again, he had just best throw in the towel. Jeez... 7 1's in a row. The nerve of that guy, Nuffle.
Mediocre Executioner's v Midnight Wrath
evilspike6 v varensire / Almarion
Both teams in this one are searching for a win. Coach Varensire has some skills to ensure he can pop the ball from opposing ball carriers and then pick it up with either ghoul. Sneaky. The Executioners are slightly short-handed for this match. Somehow, I think that will make them more Mediocre at their job than not
Match day will roll next Wednesday, 13 November. If the matches get played sooner, I will, of course, roll the week. Enjoy your games, gents!
