Just getting back into BB and was trying to familiarize myself with the statistics for various actions again. I tend to take a lot of unnecessary risks myself. Thought this might be of some use to newer players. You can run scenarios and see which actions you should or shouldn't take. It also says that you can download an app for it so you can have it on your phone while you are playing. I haven't tried it. Could be useful though. www.elyoukey.com/sac/

I go with my gut feeling! (That is also the excuse I use when I lose all the time.)

i love it i dont use in game as take too long to do on my turn but what i have done is have a few scenarios written out like pick up ball in 3 and 4 tackle zones and whats the ag4 elf players chance of a dodge (66% and 89% with dodge) and 30% into a cage that sort of thing helps get some perspective for me

Now it comes to not missclicking even more.

Question: How many people do you really think take into count the calculator?

Question: How many people do you really think take into count the calculator? I have it practically memorized tbh...all block, dodge, pass and damage percentages at least.

Interesting, I understood that there are raw percentages to this game... but, to be honest I kinda manage myself more on a Reward vs. Risk system.
Is that Bad?

I personally don't memorize it. It is just good to be familiar with the stats so you can make informed decisions about your risks.
Try to make the least number of rolls yourself and try to make the other player have to roll more than he wants to. That is probably one of the most important things to do (especially in cripple cup with no rr..)
I have issues doing this myself sometimes.
Edited to add this note: Try to avoid one die rolls when blocking. This is where I've seen some people mess up. Like any other thing in Blood Bowl, it depends on the situation. Sometimes it can't be avoided. If you have to do a one die block, try to make it your last one (again, if possible).
