This mainly refers to what I have saw/ am seeing in the Bronze league:
You guys are fun and I will probably stick around for quite some time. I like the way you guys play and I find you guys to be quite nice. However there are some issues that I am having with the way the league:
It's still a bit too disorganized and the game weeks take too long. Communication needs to be improved player side. And I think we may need to increase the admin action a bit if a game takes too long.
I was thinking: Lets say we make the week a 7 day week (ie mon to mon) and everybody (in the chat this should be clearly stated) should try to play their game WITHIN that week. Now if someone absolutly cannot play and could play one more day, then the admins should allow that. I would think a 2 day extra given time per week would be fair. And if the game is not played by then it must be admined with the current knowledge the admin has. After 9 days zero tolerance and the game week should advance (now wed to wed)
This way we could stay flexible as this league is still quite small, yet start to show certain organization and standards towards future progression. I really would like to see admins showing a bit less tolerance to delayed games.
2 more things:
1) A sticky post in each league where people have to post their absences a head, preferably a week or more. This just makes communication easier and makes sure certain errors don't happen
2) Change the forums so that a PM will send a email to you. This does HUGE work in other private leagues I play in (OCC and German BB league) since it is the best way to gurantee the person seeing you trying to communicate with him, whether it being an admin asking you about a game not being played and thinking of how to handle the to-be admined game, or your opponent trying to shout to you that he may be free or not free at a given time.
CJ: really been enjoying the league, only hope to improve it with some ideas, since you obviously are very RL commited. Currently I just have a lot of free time that allows me to think about these things.
