Nails vs Deano
Propping up the group are Nails and Deano. Amazons vs Nurgle...
Nails is missing two blitzers, which means a distinct lack of block on the team, and it looks like Deano lost a warrior and possibly something else, but it is late and I can't be bothered checking.
Prediction 0-0. The teams will turnover the ball most gloriously and spill much blood - mostly their own, doing too many GFIs and needless dodges.
Flukeofnature vs Gudrac
Wait a minute? 2 skill-ups aready? Who validated that game? Fluke has two skilled Hobbos already (Block/Dodge) - will it make the difference? You never know...
Chaos Dwarfs vs Necromantics - should be an even matchup, either team could do it here.
Prediction - 2-1 to the noble Chorfs. (although not quite as noble as the Group 3 Chorfs ofc)
Shaunuthun vs CharlieBanks
Underworld vs Ogres! Charlie shocked us all with a rookie Ogre win in the first game, even if it was againstDeano Nurgle, who are quite slow starters too.To be honest, I see another Ogre win could be on the cards here. Charlie's reputation for ultra violence could well see those poor goblins and rats be fouled off the pitch by half-time. Be warned, Shaun!
Prediction - 1-0 to the Ogres - Turn 15 bonehead leaves them sweating over the last turn score, despite no opposition left on the pitch.
Gautedasuta vs Squiggy
Squiggy. Is. Top of the league - Sing Squiggy is top of the league! What is more, Gautedasuta is in second place, after both teams won their first game. (at least according to the Cyanide tie-break system which takes into account the phase of the moon, the grumpiness of Nuffle, and most importantly, the wishes of the IPBBL comissioner's wife.)
What is more, Squiggy has a skill-up, a MV8 Blitzer. One for the future there I think.
I watched Gautedasuta's orc rip apart some Amazon's last week - aided by the dice it is true, but he played the game very competently indeed. So...
Prediction - 2-1 grind to the orcs. The Drow run out of rerolls in the second half and suffer a disasterous turnover early in turn 10...
