It's been a long road. Both teams are drenched in blood. Both share the same scars of a grueling season on the pitch. Yet, out of all the starting teams, it is only these two that remain.
THE TEAMS:
The Champ
Neorromanticos
Since their induction to the league, this is the winning-est team around. Three of the seven trophies have gone home with this team. They have been torn down and rebuilt, but the heart of the team has always remained constant. His name is Wollack. Wollack Melenablanca. Any you had better remember him.Playing as one of two Legends on the Iron Phoenix pitch, this player has it all! Superior movement and skills along with a set of razor-sharp claws make this player the most wanted on the pitch! How many fouls has he survived? How many more times will this lucky wolf survive? Only time will tell. Thin on a supporting cast, Wollack regularly relies on himself and not much else. History has proven he doesn't require much more than that to come out the Champion.
The Challenger
Banana Warriors
Always in the mix. Never an easy bump in the road, the Warriors have kept going. Yes, they've suffered their setbacks. Yes, they've suffered their defeats. Yes, they've learned and come back stronger than ever! Though they are the challenger for the Iron Crown, some may consider them the favorite. Anchored on offense by Rama and his little brother Slip. Each boasts preternatural agility, but Rama is the skink that carries the drive. On Defense, it's none other than the Banana Warrior that truly deals damage to the opposition. Boasting every skill required of this type of bruiser, the Banana Warrior is THE guy. As he goes, so do his Saurii.
THE PREDICTION:
Boy, this really comes down to the casualty war, in my opinion. If Wollack or Zarrapastroso can remove a key Saurus or two, then the rest of the dominoes will fall. However, if a wolf, or one of the ghouls falls, then Neorromanticos will find themselves with a tough battle. The Dauntless Zombies will really come in handy unless they're tied up with skinks. The main skinks, however, must escape injury. A tying 1TTD attempt and subsequent score is not out of the question with either of these teams, so one must be weary of a last-minute attempt.
2-1 for the Banana Warriors ultimately. Parrigan has been playing out of his mind lately. His skills are honed and he's poised to finally take a 'regular' trophy home. He'd better watch those inducements, though...
Gents, please schedule and play your matches accordingly. I'll give you enough time to adequately play your match. Please upload to BBM, Iron Season 8. Good Luck!!
