The skinks are still in it beating the Scrubbers 2-0. It was a tough beginning for Gorbag with a turn 1 pitch invasion that left 6 of his guys on the ground. He had some good dodging blitzes to try and stop me, but once my team was running around on his turf, it wasn't too hard. Then it started to rain which meant the Bull Centaur wasn't going to be picking up the ball. He almost made it to the endzone to tie it up, but I think failed a dodge at the end stopping it. Second half was a little back and forth until I started getting some KOs and then was able to push the bull off the field. Then I just had to get past the rain to pick up the ball and used my superior numbers to keep him locked down while I scored. gg Gorbag.

Gonna start out by apologising to groovydm, and offering to pay for the damages...wait no, I'm not bill gates, I couldnt afford the damages. Also, he was expecting 400-430k inducements, and I feared a morg or a deeproot/chef combo, so I fired a rookie linesman to bring it down to a "safe" 350...which did pay off as he had to go for a rookie treeman merc rather than deeproot if he wanted the chef, and those loner/root rolls bit him in the ass. Groovy's flings were plagued with bad luck on his take root, stand up and dodge rolls from start to finish. he put up one hell of a fight, but 4 early cas, a nice play (time for a trumpet blow) to isolate his trees (yeah, 2 of em...bloody mercs) and a large strength and number advantage meant this was a relatively comfortable win. Not through skill or great play, although I didnt play badly, but hell...flings...basically slightly mobile targets. Once the trees were down, and in one case out, it was just a case of bashing my way through the flings with my block players til I could score at the end of either half, with my dirty player causing a bit more pain, and poor groovy's failed dodges bringing down 2 more flings. I think in the end he took 10 cas and 5 kos, including 3 deaths and a niggle...poor buggers. Well played in extremely trying circumstances groovy, it was a pleasure, though I'm pretty sure that pleasure was one-sided. You played well but with flings for you and nuffle against you, you were always gonna be up against it. I hope to play you again on a more even playing field soon sir. Final result 2-0 to Pimpslap university, who seem to be doing rather well...I'm gonna credit Goodpass with that, his training has paid dividends! Edit:Match uploaded. Groovy, you're in 4th place, 2 points clear of 5th...you can do it! Bring home the playoff glory for all the shortarse fouling bastards out there! We have faith!

The blind rats put the beat-down on the illiterate goblins in their 4th match. For 12 turns of nail-biting and close calls it looked as though the match was a toss up. The skaven managed to foul the opponent's troll into the injured box and it was a long slide downhill from there. Thank goodness the ref is as blind as the players GG Comfort, maybe I'll see you in the playoffs
