Would like to get a day in that we all could celebrate the new BB2 that is coming out!
And what better way than playing a True Chaos Cup!
Teams:
Chaos teams only (must be able to get mutations and select which Chaos god you follow)!
Nurgle - Nurgle only
Chaos - Tzeentch, Nuffle, or Slaanesh
Chaos Dwarves - Tzeentch, Nuffle, or Slaanesh
Khorne Daemons - Khorne only
Skaven (because of mutations from a chaos god) - Tzeentch, Nuffle, or Slaanesh
Underworld (because of mutations from a chaos god) - Tzeentch, Nuffle, or Slaanesh
Gods:
Can't have more teams favoring one god than others. All must be equal! So to make sure of this, you cannot pick a god that has more followers than all the rest of opponent's choices. You can make one have more, but cannot choose to follow one that already has more!
TV: To make it as fair as possible, all teams must start at rookie level with a tv at 1000. And this can be done with any team as cheerleaders and coaching staff can be bought to help fill it in.
Gameplay:
1) TD's are not considered when determining who won the game! Matter of fact, there is no "winning" the individual game. It is who has the most inflicted injuries throughout the season!
2) There are no forfeits allowed for obvious reasons. The biggest one is that the Chaos gods are not exactly happy about whinners!
3) The ball is a weapon...sort of. If a player has the ball in his possession for any reason at the end of either player's turn, that player must first move the ball carrier into and out of opponent's tackle zones and use go for its (if needed) until he falls down. The reason for this is because the ball is literally stuck to the player for him holding on to it too long! And in a True Chaos Cup, it is known that the gods like to put a little something in the ball to make it lethal! If said player does not fall over, the owning coach must end turn after he finishes moving the ball carrier. If the possessing coach does not make at least 5 dodge rolls without falling over, this creates a penalty.
4) No hoarding money! The most amount of money allowed to a team is up to the amount in which to buy the most expensive player on the roster. If that player is already on the team, then the money must be used for the next expensive...and so on till you get to the cheapest type of player. In which, you must spend it on getting more players. That way opponents don't find themselves out of players in which to beat on! No Chaos god likes a lack of bloodshed and opportunities in which to get more!
5) All inducements are applicable (if I can figure out how to get them all available). Ie: no restrictions on wizards.
6) If a TD happens because you were dumb/unlucky enough to score or dumb/unlucky enough to get pushed into one, your points accumulated for that match will be 0 regardless of what happens up to the end of the match!
In addition, the player that scored said TD must on the next available chance make dodge rolls following all the rules in rule #3.
7) You cannot fire any player that has already accrued an injury at any time or any player that has already played at least one match. You can never have more than 15 players on your roster as the 16th may be needed to hire and fire players to keep your money limited!
Open to Bribery
8) Apothecaries are allowed to offset the balance of regeneration! Star Players can NOT have apothecaries used on them! They have their own that are much more reliable than yours, although theirs tends not to help in the game at all!
9) Penalties are resolved immediately! At the next available chance, player that "caused" the penalty has to move to the sideline in which the opponent can blitz your player off the pitch! This has to be done at the first opportunity that it can be done. If said player has to dodge out of a tackle zone, he still has to do it! That player must remain there until the end of the pitch or until they get pushed off, whichever comes first! He/She/It can defend themself, but cannot follow up. So if you have frenzy, you may not be able to throw blocks with him/it/her. If a further penalty has to be used due to coach not following the rules for a penalty without at least trying to follow it, then said coach will be eliminated from the league. Chaos gods will handle "justice" in their own way! But i am sure it will be death since it was they that demanded the rules! Open to Bribery
10) Bribes outside of the match are allowed. Commissioner of said league can be included as well as he is the one that has the overall ruling and may miss something due to gold obsession! All Bribes must have Commissioner approval though whether it be with him/her or to another player! This will be resolved by simply buying new players and firing those new players in your roster if the Bribe is approved! Ideas of Bribery are open, but keep in mind that it has to be able to be done somehow!
11) If cheerleaders and/or coaching staff are hired, they cannot be fired! They are there for the season! Although, you might be able to bribe the commissioner to kill them?...hint...hint... Open to Bribery
Accruing points!:
Doesn't matter how you injure them or whatever injures them. The more injuries the better! This could be surfing them off the pitch, fouling them, them being stuck with the ball, kick-off result, or by them tripping over a stray rock. As long as the opponent gets hurt, you get the points for it!
+1 for badly hurt injuries
+2 for serious injuries without lasting effects
+4 for serious injuries with lasting effects
+5 for deaths
Stuns and KO's do not count (more for simplicity purposes)
+1 for each ST point over 3
-1 for each ST point under 3
+1 for each AV point over 8
-1 for each AV point under 8
+1 if casualty was because of the ball! Its always amusing to the Chaos gods when they see someone frantically running for their lives before they die!
Regenerated players and players that have been healed by apothecaries still count for the original injury roll! So if you saved a player from death via regenerate or apothecary, it still counts as a death for points reasons!
Cannot go below 1 point whenever a casualty is inflicted!
There will be no play-offs. The team that has the highest point total at the end of the "season" is the winner and will get the big prize (whatever that may be). The player that has the second highest will get a minor prize once we figure that out! if needs be, the Commissioner will pit the 1st place against 2nd place and 2nd place must forfeit the match at the start of his turn!
By doing something like this for a league play, sadly you may have to go into each game's uploaded statistics and pull out the battle report to get the correct amount of points earned for the match!
However, both players can keep tally of the accumulated scores during the match and compare afterward! Or they can use the in-game chat so that they can be updated with both player's knowledge immediately!
The reward!
To have the god's favor! To be named the True Chaos Cup's winner! And perhaps more if it can be managed from the IP sponsors/bosses!
For example, maybe being entitled to be the only Chaos player in the upcoming BB2 Tin Cup League...
Idk for sure, but am sure there could be something as a just reward to fit the scheme!
I simplified the rules a bit, but can't do much more without making it unfair to certain races.
This kind of thing will have to be done by players that are honest, can make it, and play for its duration on whatever day is chosen, and want to do something that may be much more different than normal gameplay!
The dates I am thinking of for something like this would be 9/20 - 9/21. I would like it to be 3-4 matches at the very least. Might be considering making each match with shorter turns, but probably won't have to.
I am currently in the works to see if this would be sponsored by Iron Pheonix Bosses!
Will need at least one other person to help with boss work (experienced needed).
And a minimum of 4 players to do the True Chaos Cup!
Also, i need 1-3 volunteers to help me with "playtesting" to see if I missed anything! Pm me if interested! This would have to be done before 9/13 so that everyone has a good chance of reading the above rules before the league would start!
If you are interested, feel free to post below and apply to the league in-game with your newly made team. Don't forget to include which Chaos God and which race that you chose for your team are listed in this thread (the chaos god's name must be included in your team name somewhere)! For example: Nurgle's Bush Beaters or Frothing Slaanesh is fine as I know Nurgle/Slaanesh is the god you chose! DO NOT assume that I will know from the race you chose just to ensure things are clear! First come, first served basis on this thread!
