Just finished my last Bug Hunt match, and I've come to this conclusion:
I don't like BB2.
Too slow, too many stupid animations, no lobby, no challenge mode, and the team/roster page sucks. I'll continue to play in one BB2 league (now it will be Tin Plate if there are ever enough teams to kick off the season), but I'm sticking to BB1 until they pull the plug. And Cyanide gets no more of my money until they fix some of this crap. If they don't and BB1 ends, I guess it will be one league for me until the end of time.
Suck it Cyanide!
The end.

Ok, apparently when you're not in the public leagues, you can do "friendlies" with SPP, which are basically the same thing as challenge matches. Only in private leagues, though, which is fine by me. I still hate public leagues and matchmaking.
One thing checked off my list. Now get to work on that lobby, Cyanide!

Thought friendlies have no spp or injuries, are you sure there are friendlies with spp and disaster ? Without the challenge mode farming seems a lot harder to schedule. That's mostly public league related and you avoid that already. There is the IP forum to chat with your fellow coaches.

I would have thought this went without saying, but there is waaaaaay more purpose to the challenge function than farming. I think every Phoenix Open match I've ever played has been by challenge, honestly cant remember the last match I played that wasn't a challenge. Matchmaking by TV doesn't work well in BB2 anyway
I never would have found the IP forum if it weren't for public chat, and I imagine the same is true for a lot of us here. Not to mention all the noobs (recruits) asking questions and looking for matches that pop up there (and there surely must be more with the new game out)
Gotta agree with PN. So many of my favorite things didn't make the transition (GRID!)

So many of my favorite things didn't make the transition (GRID!) Public Chat indeed had a lot of spam, and coaches insulting each other, some where just boosting about their results. There is a chapter called leagues to find them. I'm with you that matching teams can be improved, but cherry picking and avoiding certain races or coaches is now harder. By disrupting farming they improved the quality of the public NAF League.

If i am spinning NAF i laways end up playing there as the phoenix open has been prety quiet when i go on.
