So he has Strip ball, Accurate, Safethrow. I am tempted by Guard, Strong Arm or Mighty Blow. I also have an ag5 thrower on the team called Beyond. The sensible choice would be Guard, (I have two linos with guard, or Strong Arm but i do fancy mighty blow for shits and giggles. That would bring the team up to 4 Mighty blow players and also 4 strip ball players.
Thoughts gentlemen please.

Without protection skills like block/wrestle or dodge, it's not terribly difficult to get him away from the scrum. Even a -2d block to remove his guard has a reasonable chance of succeeding. Plus you have more valuable pieces to protect.
If you're intent on taking the double, MB or Strong Arm would be best, imo. SA lets you pass long-bombs very reliably. You can even farm an SPP or two per match to get him to level quicker. MB, on the other hand gives you a bit of bite back in your turn. A woodie team boasting more than two MB on the roster is quite something!
I vote for MB!

Strong arm is good, but would make him similar to your other Thrower( your long passer? ) Picking Nerves of steel would give you a thousand offensive options.

I don't know in what order you gave the skills he has but you either started out for him to be a 'Ball Hawk' Thrower then added Accurate and Safethrow for some reason...or...you started him out as a pure passer and 'accidentally' picked Strip... This guy needs some protective skill (Blk/Dodge, Wrestle or even Juggy since you rolled dubs) if you want to continue down the 'Ball Hawk' path or continue down the path of pure passer, a much better option I think, (Strong Arm/NoS) with a random Strip here and there... I see 2 skill progressions possible here depending on your ultimate vision for this guy; #1 Ball Hawk Blitzer Pass / Strip Ball / Accurate / Safe Throw / Juggernaut? / Tackle, Dauntless or Frenzy next skill?#2 Pure Passer Pass / Strip Ball / Accurate / Safe Throw / Strong Arm? / Nerves of Steel? With either Guard or MB I just see this guy getting dead in a hurry and that would be a shame for a player that has gained 3 lvls already... Guard with no protective skills puts him into base contact with another player that will eventually flatten him... MB w/o Blk/Tackle means he's blocking who? an unskilled LineO? both seem wasteful to me. I do also see a 3rd option that might be completely out of the box of what you want to do with a guy like this and that's #3 Lateral Passer Pass / Strip Ball / Accurate / Safe throw / Dump off? / Sure Hands?** The idea I would have is this guy runs in, Strips and then picks up the ball to hold waiting for the counter strike to then Dump Off to a close by player... Just my opinion... What do I know...

He is a little mixed up as a thrower. Sensible options would be dodge or block. Strong arm would be good but with another thrower with ag5 is it just overkill or will it help me to make the more risky throws. I still need to think on it. Thanks for the input guys.

Let's get real here. This guy is clearly the offensive shooter so strong arm on him. Shame about the wasted skill. Your AG5 throwers should pretty much always be defensive throwers who start the counter attacks after the ball has been popped. Blodge, leap, SH are good skills for him on top of that AG.

You should probably let your cat pick this skill too. He's obviously thinking on a higher level than many of us, because strip ball is a great skill . Strong Arm seems like the right call if your squeamish about him getting killed, plus it has synergy with most of his other skills.
