Day 1 will end and the turn be made wednesday 26:th at 23:59 (unless someone begs for a later push).
Pls communicate your matchplans here. This way admins can see who has 'tried' or not if for some reason match doesn't get played. Don't forget to send in the result via BB-manager (see separate thread). The winner is the one who is supposed to send it in. In case of a tie; the home-team sends in.
The week turn-over will be on wednesday nights (GMT). IF coaches have to delay the push a few hours because of..well, life.. pls let me know so I can hold the push a while til the match is played. But this should be only in special occasions. You are expected to play your matches BEFORE the turn-over.
*shaawaa has not responded to any attempts to play his match vs Azimov yet, so we are replacing him with konky instead.

It was a hard-ass premiere! At least for my dark elves! 1 dead lineman and 1 dead witch-elf! But a fun and exciting match. Ended in a tie.

I watched it as it was already underway when I was on, it was pretty brutal. Ekawar had the win if he wanted it, could have stalled for as long as he liked. I am guessing he got wanted to steal and score another, but you finally had some KO roll luck. Underworld actually seem pretty TV efficient in this format, considering they can buy their best possible 11, fill up to 16 total, and still have 110K left over. The match has been incorrectly submitted to BB Manager twice BTW, which is throwing off the auto generated tables.

Down Under Dirty Rats vs Fragile Fury
Well fans we have eagerly awaited the start of the time honoured Cripple cup tradition in this league, and we must say these two teams have not disapointed in the first match of the season.
Fragile Fury a spanking new Dark Elf team coached by cripple cup rookie coach Ren Höek vs a newly pressganged underworld team the Down Under Dirty Rats coached by veteran cripple cup coach Ekawar, it is already a posing the questions of what will carry the match. Agility and slightly more armored sissies coached by a rookie coach or will speed and lots of freakish goblins with pointy boots coached by an experianced coach be what carries the day.
Lets have a look at the lineup shall we fans.
First we have the Down Under Dirty Rats, seems they have pulled all the rats out of the wall for this one, two throwers, they may actually be aiming for a passing game this season, we have seen it before in cripple cup from this coach, his previous team Crutches and Bandages a skaven team if I recall had a very successfull interception and passing game, but we are getting off topic, 2 Blitzers, that block should come in handy from the start and I see the coach has opted fo the two rookie rats as well, not to mention that Warpstone Troll looks impressive indeed, and it seems Coach Ekawar has fleshed out the remaining positionals with a horde of Goblins, always good to have some extra LOS body bags in a cripple cup after all.
Now lets have a look at the Fragile Fury, an amazing 4 Blitzers, thats a lot of higly agile block that can be thrown around on the pitch, which can spell trouble for the opponent, I see two Runners, very traditional, a smart move, that Dumboff skill can really ruin a good blitz and still keep the Fragile Fury in the match, there is even a single scantily clad Witchelf on the field, we always like to see those, they are nice on the eyes, and that frenzy can really help getting a team closer to the fans watching the match right there on the sidelines, then we have four linemen, or accidents waiting to happen as we call them, and we have the two real terrors in any cripple cup match, yes I said two, Coach Ren Höek has decided to bring two assasins onto the pitch, those hidden blades of theirs can spell doom for any lightly armored team, we shall be watching them closely during the match, and we see the fans already love them to, I am certain I saw some T-shirts with their names on being sold outside the stadium.
Here we go Fans, the Match is on Down Under Dirty Rats Recieving in the first drive.
Plenty of punches being thrown around by the rats, and the first assasin is down, merely prone on the pitch, but what is this it seems one of the goblins is getting up to speed for a... yes it's a foul, sadly only ending in a KO, but atleast that removed one of the assasins from the pitch, and the rats have the ball, hugging the back lione waiting it seems. The fragile Fury moves up the pitch putting preasure on the rats thrower, and the rats retaliate with more thrown punches and here comes another goblin and I hear Armor crack on that well placed Kick, and we have a lineman out BH. While we like seeing Casulties here in the Cripple Cup, we where hoping for something a little more impressive than that though, the rats are actually trying for a passing game here and it fumbles, the ball is on the ground with several darkelf runners nearby ready to steal the ball. Predictably the ball is snatched up from the ground next to the skaven thrower and the dark elf is off, deciding to stop just before scoring, well having a few friends to guard his back, I am sure coach Ren Höek is hoping to get in a few punches and hopefully hurt a few goblins or rats in the process. The rats having lost the ball decides on the only viable option for stallers, keep hurting them till they score, we see the troll turn on a poor lineman, here comes the punch....he is down.....he is not moving....The Rats make the first kill of the season!!!! Stalling tactic quickly abandonned the Fragile Fury takes the TD taking the match to 1-0.
As the teams line up again we see several darkelfs are still sleeping it of in the KO box along with the already hurt and dead. The Rats Recieve the ball but the Darkelf catch the rats of guard and initiate a blitz, the rats mannage to recover with no casulties, get hold of the ball, move rats and goblins up field, putting preasure on the witchelf, blitz and she is down, no dammage though, the Dark elfs make an effort to stop the rats, but they are still comming, and the witchelf is down again, and here we se Coach Ekawar make the finger across the throat Gesture to Ratpak the Goblin, and off he goes, dodging through the few defenders, here comes the kick for her head.....it connects....she is...she is not moving! Another Kill for the Down Under Dirty Rats!! And the rats move up the ball a bit of fumbled play and it gets into the right hands and we have a TD bringing the match to 1-1 just before halftime.
Severly out numbered now the darkelfs recieve the ball, throw a few punches and are off down the pitch, but the rats mannage to stop them, get the ball and off they go, elfs going down left and right, a bribe is handed to the ref to let one of the goblins stay on the pitch after another KO kick to the head of a downed dark elf blitzer, and the rats take the lead 2-1. Fragile Fury once again recieving this time all their KO'ed players are back, and they mannage to bully themselves through the rat lines, taking the match to 2-2 just before the final whistle blows. The rats get to recieve one last time, catches the ball with a goblin at the LOS right next to the Troll, a few punches are thrown, nothing serious, here it comes, the troll reaches down, lifts the goblin into the air, the arm goes back, the crowd is holding their breath, will it work, will he land on his feet......No the troll decides it's had enough, it's hungry, tired and the silence is unerving, and the goblin is faceplanted into the ground next to the troll, thus ending the match 2-2.
So all in all fans an excelent start on the Cripple Cup, we are going to look forward to seeing how the other teams do in their first matches of the season.

Ren can delete one of the uploads he made that should fix it. and I know I could have stalled, but I plain forgot how many turns where left and it's never fun when you have that few players left on the pitch and they just get pounded on, so better the TD, which unfortunately cost me the match
