(0-0-0*) Chaos, Beards and Horns vs. Da Big Red Machine (0-0-0*) (Cha. Dwa. 1000) Dragonvisper vs. Bubs (Orc 970)
*Wins - Losses - Losses by Submission (UBC)And IIIIIIITTTTTTTTs TIME for the fourth Ultimate Bowler match. After a devastating defeat for Team Havol, Weresquid vs. Nails, Team Rocketdeath still have advantage. This time, the Chaos Dwarves, Chaos, Beards and Horns against the orcs, Da Big Red Machine. Dragonvisper against Bubs. Bubs, the coach, known for the skaven team, Elements of Discord, a team which most likely, soon will enter one of the higher prestige filled I.P. leagues, with an impressive 7-1 win ratio. He is certainly ready to take on Dragonvisper, not wanting to be the first to go down on Team Rocketdeath. Dragonvisper, a veteran of Iron Phoenix, being part of this league since the start of 2015. Two years in, he is more than ready to take his place in the Hall of Champions, hoping the Ultimate Bowler will be the league that finally rewards his hard work. His highest value of a team in Iron Phoenix Blood Bowl 2 is orcs. So as they say "Know thy enemy" this should give him the tools to finally take the advantage for team Havol. This match is 4 min pr. round. It is a knock-out, with overtime and if needed penalties. It is important for both players to remember, that rerolls add to the chance of winning the penalty round, if going so far. The players are also allowed to concede the match, but it will be recorded as a loss by submission. This will of course, reward the opponent 2 MVPs and double the gold, which will make them stronger for future matches. This could become a problem, as the teams could meet again (see Wild Cards). So before Conceding, weigh the consequences. It is the responsibility of the two players to set up this match, using this thread. Please, both players, post your availabilities (as in any other I.P. league). The time that is used, should be in GMT. Please allow at least a day (24 hours), from agreeing to a match day to LIVE, giving everyone that wish to be a spectator a chance to join and watch. Deadline for the match is June 2nd, 0200 GMT, but please put your effort in to getting it played before that, so we can move on to Match #5. Both teams have received a ticket for the match. Can be used any time, before match day. The Winner will move on to the Quarter-Finals. The Loser will go back to the Holding Cell, awaiting the Wild Card Matches, with a second chance to become a Finalist. See rules for more information. Everyone is allowed to use this thread for any thoughts they have of this match (keep it "kinda" civil). Also, if you haven't, check out the discord thread. An amazing platform for Iron Phoenix members to chat, laugh and discuss, while watching a match. Keep an eye with the date for match. Come out and join the party if you can. Get to know the people you spent this hobby with.

This match also decide who picks the next two matches, as match 6 is not really an option with only two players left.
So even more rest on Dragonvisper and Bubs shoulders.
Side note; This of course mean that match 5 and 6 can be played simultaneously. More about that later.

Bubby...I can call you, Bubby, right? It's cute. Ok, that's settle.
Bubby, Im sorry you are not on Havols team. I know it seem like Rocketdeath's team is the one winning, but you see, its all a setup. Think about it for a moment. You are on Rocketdeath's team. Rocketdeath, like I die quickly. Just read the training area under Bretonnians. Rocketdeath had to give up quickly playing Bretonnians. Just dont have the skill, even with a team as easy as them. Everyone on that team start with a skill, and he still couldn't succeed. Also check Hall of Fame. Do you see Rocketdeath anywhere?? No?? Me neither. So we can do the math. What is the chance for him to take a team to victory here? Yes, you see it too.
So when you play monday. Just play for fun. No, reason to be all serious about it. That just make losing feel bad. Have fun, test some new things, like passing with orcs. They truly can be awesome in that. I also had black orcs that dodge a lot and with success. They opponent never see it coming. This match is the time for testing things.
You are welcome.

@apollo your embarassing yourself man, Bubskii knows hes on the right team. And hes ready to go. Hes gonna pound dragonvisper into the dirt. Bubs has been training for this match for 3 weeks because he knew he was gonna get it, because he knew we'd never lose advantage. And this match will be no different. Team Rocketdeath will continue to dominate the challenge rounds, giving us that much more chance to succeed in the following rounds. You had to make up a "wildcard" format just to get Team Havol to be allowed to have teams in the following rounds.

Thanks for letting me know about this UBC thing, Bubs... sure was entertaining to read up on, then watch your game - the verbal interchange over Discord really adds to the experience! What a blast! Too bad I couldn't find anybody cheering on DragonVisper's side, or I would have really been entertained!

Too bad I couldn't find anybody cheering on DragonVisper's side, or I would have really been entertained! Usually their are people on both sides. I think it was just a coincidence today that it was a difficult time for people.

(1-0-0*) Chaos, Beards, and Horns VS. Da Big Red Machine (0-1-0*) (Cha. Dwarf 970) Dragonvisper vs. Bubskii (Orc 1010) 1 - 1 ^ penalties
*Wins - Losses - Losses by Submission (UBC)This match started at the home stadium of Coach Dragonvisper's Chaos, Beards, and Horns, called Bearded Plain. The location of this stadium was kept a secret as the UBC officials and the orcish away team, Da Big Red Machine, were all blindfolded when they were brought to the stadium. However, we know it is located somewhere in chaos dwarf territory, east of the World's Edge Mountain Range. The weather was unusually nice for the chaotic region. The orcs won the coin toss and chose to receive. The ref blew the whistle, KICKOFF! The chorfs kicked it off and started aggressively blitzing into the orc half with a pincer formation, one bull centaur heading around either flank of the line and then closing in behind the line toward the ball. The orc thrower received the ball and fell into a cage behind his line. Very early in the orc drive, one of the big black orcs put a hard hit on a chaos dwarf blocker (Gharakk Burntsoul) knocking him out cold. C, B, and H answer quick as one of the bull centaurs throws a retaliatory hit on an orc lineman, knocking him unconscious and he was carried off. With the chorfs attacking the flanks, Da Big Red Machine push the ball up the middle, punching through the chorfs thinned line. The chaos dwarfs quickly adjust and collapse on the cage, laying a hit on the ballcarrier, knocking him down and the ball loose. Chaos, Beards, and Horns recover the ball. The hobgoblin, Ballsack Bonereater, oh wait, Im sorry correction, Im being told the hobgoblins name is Ballracker Bonethief. Hahaha, honest mistake, I swear. Anyways, Ballsack took the ball up the right sideline for his chorf masters with some support in a drive towards the endzone. The orcs scramble back to protect their half and stop the ballcarrier. They placed one orc in front of the charging hobgoblin and marked up up most of the goblin's supporting players. A black orc went in to mark the last remaining supporting chorf player, a bull centaur, and while going for that extra yard he trips over his own feet and falls on his ass. The bull, free to move, blitzed away the orc in the way, and ran in for the first TOUCHDOWN Bonereater!, I mean Ballsack, I mean Ballcracker, you know what I mean, its a TOUCHDOWN! With little time remaining in the half, both sides are well aware of the orcs need for a quick score. The chaos dwarfs set up back to kick in a very conservative setup to guard against the quick return. The orc thrower receives the ball while all 4 orc blitzers charge deep into chorf territory as potential receivers. The chaos dwarf players marked all 4 of the orc blitzer/receivers. One of da big burly black orcs tried to blitz a bull centaur away from one of his receivers and they both went down in a tangle of violence. The bull centaur tried to get back up and attack the orc receiver but the attackers poor attempt was rebuffed and he was knocked back down. The orc thrower then ran forward and launched the ball to the now free orc blitzer. CATCH! The orc blitzer then ran full speed toward the endzone and scored. TOUCHDOWN Da Big Red Machine! The game went into the half tied 1 - 1. In the second half, the chaos dwarfs seemed to get an offensive jumpstart, with the whole team moving just a bit quicker then their orcish opponents. A hobgoblin named Gdeb Darkscreamer received the ball and headed towards the right side of the pitch behind a solid screen. Much of the beginning of this half was a slow grind as the chaos dwarfs tried to muscle their way toward the end zone with players on both sides needing to be carried off the pitch. The first player to go out was the star hobgoblin Ballsacker Bonermuncher who was killed dead by Larionov, the same orc blitzer who seriously injured a chaos dwarf blocker earlier in the match. Violent fella that Larionov, but then again, all them green fellas are a bit rough around the edges. I say that out of admiration, not orcism. I like greenfolk. After their favorite pet hobgoblin was killed, it seemed like a fire was lit under the chaos dwarf team. First they knocked out a big black orc. Then, they knocked out another big black orc and he was carried away. After that KO, both sides dug in and nothing happened for awhile, the hobgoblin ballcarrier sat in his cage in the center pitch and neither side was able to gain any ground. Finally the chorfs saw an opening as the orcs were unable to mark a stray hobgob on the side of the pitch. The ballcarrier ran to the right and handed the ball off to this stray slave who then ran full speed toward the end zone trying to get out of range. Unfortunately, he stumbled and was unable to regain his footing, fumbling the ball, and leaving an opening for the orcs to scramble for it. For the rest of the half, both sides jostled for the loose ball but neither side was able to make anything important happen and the game went into overtime. The chaos dwarves started the overtime period with a beautiful onside kick attempt that went just far enough, landing right on the border of the sideline and the line of scrimmage. The orcs did not have the speed and range to recover this onside kick straight away and both sides scrambled toward the sideline for the ball. After some of the overtime period was wasted in this, the orc thrower was able to pick up the ball and fall back behind his line. He tried a horizontal pass to a blitzer who had an opening to run through if he could make the catch. Had this pass been made, the blitzer would then have been homefree to get out of range and score but the throw was inaccurate and the ball was loose again, but this time behind the orc line in good position still for them to try again. An orc blitzer was able to get the ball while his black orc buddies tried to make a hole for him to cross the pitch diagonally toward the end zone. Although very close, they were unable to complete this task and the overtime period ran out with the score still tied. With a tie after the overtime period, the game went to penalty kicks to decide the result. The injured chaos dwarf blocker showed some real heart as he somehow got up and kicked it through the uprights to score a penalty for his team. His orc counterpart then failed his kick and the win was given to Coach Dragonvisper and his Chaos, Beards, and Horns team. A close match, well played. Welcome to the quarterfinals, Chaos, Beards, and Horns. If any one else have some words, advice, match report etc for the above match, please write them. Looking forward to see what other players thoughts are on the match. Read more: iron-phoenix.freeforums.net/thread/3434/match-linnerud-lykanz-crusaders-elite#ixzz4iWsh4MyK
