(0-1-0*) Furious Rage vs. Da Big Red Machine (0-1-0*) (Norse 910) Tencoin vs. Bubs (Orc 1040)
*Wins - Losses - Losses by Submission (UBC)And IIIIIIITTTTTTTTs TIME for the seventh Ultimate Bowler match. A match of wild cards. This is the match for the underdogs, the ones giving a chance to upset the expected. Nothing more exciting, then when a team against all odds, shine above the norm, and move to the top of the hill. And nothing more fair, than the two teams that gets a chance, is the two teams, that both had their defeat because of judges decisions and penalties. In the red shirt, we have Da Big Red Machine, coached by Bubs. After a close match against the chaos dwarves, Chaos, Beards and Horns, they get another chance to earn their spot in the quarter-finals. They are the last team of Rocketdeath, and if they win, team Rocketdeath is fully represented in the finals, which is a clear upset for team Havol. Da Big Red Machine came out of their first match, practically unharmed, and is fully rested and ready. Watch out for the Blitzer Larionov, which took claim of a life and two casualties on his opponent in their first match. In the...the Norse, Furious Rage, coached by Tencoin, which is barely dressed, is taking this challenge with open arms and cries of war. Nothing can stop them. The team is hurt and cornered, but this is where the Norse prefer to be. In their recent match against the Necromantic team of Meat Puppets, two of their team members met their end, one of them now part of the walking dead. They are clearly the underdog of the underdogs, but do not miss the match, where legends will be written and sagas begin. This might be the match, that start the path for the first champion of Ultimate Bowler and UBC. This match is 4 min pr. round. It is a knock-out, with overtime and if needed penalties. It is important for both players to remember, that rerolls add to the chance of winning the penalty round, if going so far. The players are also allowed to concede the match, but it will be recorded as a loss by submission. This will of course, reward the opponent 2 MVPs and double the gold, which will make them stronger for future matches. This could become a problem, as the teams could meet again in the UBC. So before Conceding, weigh the consequences. It is the responsibility of the two players to set up this match, using this thread. Please, both players, post your availabilities (as in any other I.P. league). The time that is used, should be in GMT. Please allow at least a day (24 hours), from agreeing to a match day to LIVE, giving everyone that wish to be a spectator a chance to join and watch. Deadline for the match is June 12th, 0200 GMT, but please put your effort in to getting it played before that, so we can move on to Match #8. Both teams have received a ticket for the match. Please Use it as quickly as possible, so the admin can start the match, and it will be ready for scheduled day.
The Winner will move on to the Quarter-Finals. The Loser will go back to the Holding Cell, awaiting their placement in the UBC. See rules for more information. Everyone is allowed to use this thread for any thoughts they have of this match (keep it "kinda" civil). Also, if you haven't, check out the discord thread. An amazing platform for Iron Phoenix members to chat, laugh and discuss, while watching a match. Keep an eye with the date for match. Come out and join the party if you can. Dana Whiteknight is a jerkass, and give no leeway. I know..I tried to talk with him, but he wont bent (he said something about, time is gold, and gold buy bloodweiser babes, so no extra time given).

Go friends! But remember that on the pitch, friendships no longer exist - it's all about the obliteration of the other team!
I'll have to bet everything I have (prolly zero) on Bubs - simply because of his life-altering gym work-out regimen that makes him not only physically strong, but mentally tough as well...
(And Tencoin, if you wish to know his weakness, I can sell you the secret... something to do with "juice"... but your price will have to be higher than the zero I will make on my wager on Bubs' win!)

(1-1-0*) Furious Rage vs. Da Big Red Machine (0-2-0*) (Norse 990) Tencoin vs. Bubs (Orc 1010) 1 - 0
*Wins - Losses - Losses by Submission (UBC)Once again, we were in the Frozen North at Homeland, the stadium of Furious Rage. The seventh match of the Ultimate Bowler and the first of the wild cards. These two teams, getting a second chance, to prove that they could become the Ultimate Bowler. Da Big Reds were receiving first. The Weather was Nice, and perfect for this match. Orcs picked up the ball and made a loose cage, and the rest of the players started to exchange blocks around the skirmish line. A battle of the warriors. Punch each other back and forth. Moving the line up and down, knocking orcs and norse alike down, stunning some and a single knockout on the Norse team. It continued like that for most of the first half, but then Khorne the Blood God, must have look down upon them, and said, enough is enough. This is BLOOD bowl. First casualty; Eilifdora, a norse lineman, hurt himself badly on an orc's armor, and had to sit out for the rest of the match. A Berserker went shoulder first, into the star on Da Big Red Machine, Larionov, knocking him out, making the team a lot weaker. Then the runner Grettir, went dauntless and head first into a black orc, sending him out bruised and done. Too busy trying to beat each other up, all were surprised when the referee, suddenly ended the first half, 0-0. Kick-off, Norse received. The Weather held Nice, but the big question were, would the God Khorne play nice? The answer was no. Right away, the Orc Blitzer Petrov decided to take out another norse lineman. Pay back came fast. The Berserker Ofeigmoar, Fractured on orc's Skull. The second half continued as 1st half had ended. Blood for the Blood God. Tencoin was guiding his team from the sideline, making them focus as well on moving the ball forward a bit, and within sprinting distance of the touchdown line. Halfway through second half, still no score. Halfdan the Stout, claimed another casualty, taking out yet another orc. The clock ticking down. Tencoin was heard, yelling that his team had to try to score. Grettir, the runner, seem to be the only one that heard him, running in, getting a hold of the ball, rushing away from the brawling. The orc Blitzer Petrov, saw him, and tried to catch him, but Grettir dodge away, and ran in the ball for the first touch down. 1-0 to the Norse. The orcs was defeated. Not enough time to score. Furious Rage fans was Cheering their team on. The ball get kicked away, and the match was over. Welcome to the Quarter finals, Furious Rage. And to Da Big Red Machine, we will see you again in the second wild card match. Be careful, Team Havol. This is a team that earned some experience, and feeling ready to revenge their two defeats. If any one else have some words, advice, match report etc for the above match, please write them. Looking forward to see what other players thoughts are on the match. Note: TV is calculated based on no changes on team, level up getting +STR and journeymen needed
