So, I got me a regular skill on my human blodgestep catcher. I am thinking to evolve both catchers on the roster into defensive pains in the ass with one taking shadow and the other DT. Ideally both catchers will take tackle (the other already has it as I faced Lizards earlier).
My question is, do I take shadow or DT first? Which do you think is better without tackle? Or do I take tackle first?
I'm not really concerned with making one as an all-out OTTD threat, y'know, the sprint/sure feet route, as both already have sidestep and I can usually set up for the attempt.
Remaining matches this season are vs Undead, who has a couple of really nice ghouls, and khemri. If I make the PO's I'll likely be facing a mix of Undead, Nergle, and Lizards.

I take shadowing before DT w/o Tackle... to tell the truth. I really like shadowing and fond it far more annoying in the long run then the random DT guy messing with my plans.

Personally I think that Shadowing is better against elves and DT is better against lower agility teams. Diving Tackle is enough to make ag3 dodges practically impossible and it's better in general (unless you face ag4 or ag5 players). DT can pin the enemy player down, while Shadowing doesn't really do anything for a single dodge. And there is a good chance that you'll end up in a bad position if you follow up.
One thing I like about Shadowing is that you can follow up a player that tries to blitz another marker to get free.

Took shadow. I'll wait for him to die.
