Congrats on making the post-season, gents. Here's your matchups. I'll post some fluff tomorrow when I have a bit more time. Wenteros finished in first; Threeofclubs second; and DocOz and Nails finished third and fourth but Nails gets the head-to-head tiebreaker so he grabs the 3rd spot.
Elemental Unity v Glass Cannons
wenteros v DocOz3000
First time these clubs met, it was a sort of elf-off. 6 combined passes and 4 touchdowns speaks of how well these teams can move the ball. Almost universal AV7 on both sides, too. Elemental Unity comes in as the number one overall seed. However, both draws and their lone loss are all attributed to the other teams in the post season. This team has escaped serious injury to the bulk of the team. They also now sport an ST4/AG5 naked lineman. With a skillup pending on the other AG5 lino, their TV will be a hair over 1900 (just perfect for the grind that is Gold). They have all the skills needed to score and prevent scores. Provided their AV7 holds, of course. On the other side of the pitch, the Glass Cannons are no slouches, either. While their killers may not be fully developed, they do have more MB than their opposition. They also have the lesser TV so a wizard could definitely be in play. Coach Oz is no stranger to these waters so he'll pull all the stops to advance. This should be a great match from two veteran coaches.
It's a Trap!!! v The Simpires
threeofclubs v nails
What's better for a lizard team than an AG4/block skink? yes, that's right; TWO AG4/block skinks! Sad that their third AG4 skink will be missing this one. It's a Trap!! tied for the most wins in the league, they just suffered one more loss. Their skinks are the heart of this team, but thats not to say that the Saurii are idle. If anything, they do their job so that Pebble and Wrong way can pull of their shenanigans. The only thing I'm worried about is the size of the roster. One injury or a KO could spell doom with those Vamps lurking. Speaking of which... The Simpires have had a great season. I honestly haven't seen a team of vampires do this well in quite some time. They'll come in at a lower TV, so that means about 200k in inducements. The will also only field 11 healthy players. Tough call on what to do here. Maybe just hope you don't roll any 1's for bloodlust? This is also certainly going to be a great match. A few rolls here or there will decide who prevails. Tune in to see what happens.
Tickets have been sent. Please accept so we can get to crowning a new champ. Me and parrigan were getting tired of hogging the glory
