Hello fellow coaches. If there's another place where match reports are supposed to go please let me know I will move this. I will continue to enter reports from the coach, Ragnoff, who in the story is reporting to the Temple that spawned this particular lizardman team. I always think it's more fun to enter elements like this, although I honestly don't know if I have the time to add pictures and some of the cool things I have seen from other story style reports. This is a narrative report style.
I would encourage anyone else who wants to participate to do their own style, but something from the perspective of somebody actually in the world of the league (coach, player, reporter, fan – choices are endless). I think these make it more fun to follow the stories and the players. In years past when I played every once a while we would get to reports on the same match from opposite sides, and sometimes those were most hilarious to read! With no further ado,

I record this for his mightiness, Madosses, Lord of the Temple, for his review when he awakes from his contemplation of the heavens and the plans of the Old Ones.
This is the report on the progress of the spawning known as Rippers of the Ragnoff to show the glory of the Lizardmen through the competition in the "Blood Bowl" competition engaged in by the lesser races.
I, Ragnoff, am grateful for the opportunity to serve the Temple!
It was obvious right at the beginning that the spawning, the Rippers, despite training for this competition for years were hesitant and not fully ready. The trainer believed responsible has already been fed to the beasts of the swamp. One of your mighty Saurus - Qlatilt Smoothscale, was knocked out in the opening moments of the game, and this seemed to be a bad omen to this lowly observer. Kroque of the Moon, the Kroxigor was stunned moments later while the final member of the frontline was also knocked to the ground. This concern seem to intensify when the undead quickly scored the first score of the match.
This seemed to shake up the team and refocus them, as your Smoothscale recovered and the saurii and Kroque started brutally dealing with the undead, particularly the zombies, on the opposing team. Many were injured and carried off the field. Your skink servant Kwe of the Stream was able to tie the game before the end of the first half. It should be noted that by the end of the match Oatlit-tlu Hardscale and Oysoatz Scarredscale both injured two of the undead so badly they were unable to finish the match.
The early part of the second half was similar, with Undead players being felled, sometimes by their own efforts, and even the swift small skinks managed to knock a few of them down. Our Rippers continued to hurt our opponents and slowly move the ball down the field. I was hoping to never return the ball to the undead (known as the Death bay radiers) during the game and score as would be glorious in the final moments. Again the experience of the team showed, a few of the Warriors, over confident, missed blocks on relatively weak opponents and this allowed the remaining undead to surround the skinks and eventually tear the ball from our messengers hand!
Despite our sudden inability to pound on our opponents, the earlier damage begin to show and the Rippers superior numbers allowed us to interfere with the undead - who had picked up the ball. At this point the formations were scattered and both teams were scrambling. It came down to the final moments, the skink Lazit of the Still Pond would be required to pick up the ball despite the presence of undead, scoot down in hand off to Kwe of the Stream who could then dash for the endzone. Your skinks moved as if they were carrying a message from the old ones, and successfully pulled off this last minute score to win for the greater glory of the Temple.
Not all is glorious, earlier in the match with one of the undead players was so badly damaged the other coach could be heard to say is that he would be useless from that point forward. Apparently that is where the undead decided to make your glorious spawning pay for the damage your spawn had inflicted upon them. I regret to say your saurus warrior, Adohigartla Darkscale, was killed on the field and raised as a player on the undead team! This insult not be born, and we suggest a major expedition lead by one of the old ones themselves to punish the city of the necromancer responsible. Unfortunately your spawning to be unable to participate, as we are currently training for our next match.
I defer to your enlightened wisdom on just retribution.
Kwe played so well in scoring twice we discovered that he has become more (+1 Ag) which can only lead to glorious things to come.
